Back in June, Michele "Nelly" Johnson hosted her first local art-rock show at Zodiac. She invited a few dozen artists, a handful of bands, and even raised money for the Waldo Canyon Fire, which happened around the same time.
Now Johnson is gearing up for the sequel, We Are Not Rembrandt II, which is slated for this Saturday. This time, Johnson's lined up artists — some newcomers, others repeat participants — including Lexi Harris, Heather Barlow, Hilary McCandless-Beard, Miranda Davie and Jeremy McAnally. Same goes for the musicians, such as: The Good Morning Accordion Terrorist, Animus Invidious, Melting Temple and The Mostly Don'ts.
Like last time, Johnson will also donate a portion of the proceeds to a local charity, Saturday's being All Breed Rescue & Training.
Prices for the artwork will again be on the affordable side, with jewelry spanning $2.75 to $150, and all other media starting at just $5.
