Any time someone offers free beer, we think it's important to pass that opportunity along, so here's your chance:
Former Vice Mayor Richard Skorman and SunShare, the solar array company started by a Colorado College grad, David Amster-Olszewski, are teaming up to host the Better Energy and Environment Roundtable (BEER). Get it?
Skorman and SunShare will buy beers for the first 25 to show up for a roundtable meeting on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Meadow Muffins, 2432 W. Colorado Ave.
Skorman, also a CC grad, owns several downtown businesses and is a long-time advocate for sustainability in Colorado Springs.
BEER, turns out, is a monthly event where people can learn about ways to reduce their carbon footprint from speakers and one another.
Cheers!
