Arts More from American Qur'an

This week, we wrote about the newest exhibit coming to Colorado College's I.D.E.A. Space, American Qur'an, a suite of 83 paintings (out of 114) from Los Angeles artist Sandow Birk depicting the suras, or chapters, of the Muslim holy book.
Now five years into the project, Birk has posted all the completed panels (done in guache and ink) on his website. There, you can see the works in greater detail, but here are a few more coming to CC later this month:
