Local News Colorado Springs in Top 10 for credit-card debt

I'm sure you've always wondered how your crippling debt compared to everyone else's. Well, now Manilla.com has the answer: If you call southern Colorado home, it's pretty high. The account-organization website released data today showing the Colorado Springs and Pueblo regions have the fifth-highest credit-card account balances in the country, averaging $2,164.
Listed above the Pikes Peak region are San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose in fourth, Denver in third (with $2,227), Charleston in second and Pensacola in first, with an average balance of $3,253 per person.
As far as other aspects of owing money, the website says our area's average mortgage balance is $159,236; average student-loan balance is $16,877; and average auto-loan balance at $11,692.
Regarding the company, the New York Times wrote a few years ago that Manilla "wants to help people organize four categories of accounts: household bills, like phone and cable; magazine subscriptions; air travel rewards programs; and financial bills like mortgages and credit cards."
