According to Colorado College's independent student newspaper, the former Leechpit (and Toons) space at 802 N. Nevada Ave., could be ready to house art shows, live music, and student groups by next month.

From the Catalyst:

Over $100,000 have been spent on renovations for the building for aesthetic purposes and to bring it up to the city’s code.
“It’s not going to be polished-finished; it’s going to be safely finished, with polished glass where you can see inside because part of a college is to see students doing stuff,” said Moore.

The Leechpit, a much-loved vintage clothing/music store, vacated the space earlier this year after the college declined to renew its lease.
