In addition to the predicted cold weather respite, this Saturday will offer an especially eclectic lineup of area musical performances. You can get full details in our latest issue’s Reverb, but here’s a quick rundown of what’s happening.

Knight in Colors is returning from its two-month hiatus to play the Black Sheep’s annual Ugly Sweater Xmas Party. The event is also a record release party for Sound|Studies, who’ll be playing a headlining set to celebrate their new Late Night, Early Mornings CD.

Bullhead*ded's Zetfree FoundDed will be playing his first gig as the newest member of Denver progressive hip-hop group Folklorist, who open for Public Enemy at Summit Music Hall.

• Critically acclaimed L.A.-based ambient sound artist Kevin Greenspon will perform at the Subterranean, with Charioteer and Miette Hope opening.

• And finally, check out this week’s interview with New York composer Phil Kline, whose Unsilent Night moving sound sculpture will parade through streets of Old Colorado City.
