Here’s something that doesn’t happen all that often. Over the course of three hours, folks at the Pikes Peak Center
sent out four press releases announcing shows by acts whose combined careers add up to a couple centuries:
widely regarded as the last of the blues legends, will return to the venue on August 14.
and husband Neil Girardo
will play their 35th anniversary tour of chart-topping ‘80s hits on August 19.
Huey Lewis & the News
will offer up even more ‘80s pop hits on August 22, and
George Thorogood & the Destroyers
will perform their blue-eyed, blues-rock favorites on October 3.
Tickets for King go on sale this Thursday, while the rest go on sale Friday, all at pikepeakcenter.com
