That's right: This year, kids 7 to 17 can accompany their adults to Colorado Springs Philharmonic concerts for free. Thanks to a donation from GE Johnson Construction Company, each adult ticket nets up to two free passes for children coming to the show.

Most, but not all, of the Philharmonic's upcoming season will offer Free for Kids seating:

The Red Violin, Sept. 20-21
Cirque Musica, Sept. 26-27
Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 4, Oct. 11
Brahms’ First Piano Concerto, Oct. 25-26
Wicked Divas, Oct. 31- Nov. 1
Beethoven and Bruckner, Nov. 15-26
Sea to Shining Sea, Jan. 9-10, 2015
Boléro, Jan. 24-25, 2015
Cheyenne Jackson: American Songbook, Feb. 6-7, 2015
Tosca, Feb. 21-22, 2015
Music of the Who, March 6-7, 2015
Mozart: Requiem, March 14, 2015
Brahms 1, April 18-19, 2015
Rite of Spring, May 16-17, 2015

The line-up includes El Pomar Foundation Masterworks concerts, Philharmonic Pops shows and Vanguard Performances, giving kids a chance to see Josep Caballé-Domenech and Thomas Wison in action, as well as that guy from 30 Rock.
