As of the latest campaign finance filings, the leading Colorado Springs mayoral candidates had raised a combined total of $539,951.

Former Attorney General John Suthers is the leader with $340,903. El Paso County Commissioner Amy Lathen is next highest with $96,442, while former Mayor Mary Lou Makepeace raised $88,110, and former City Councilor Joel Miller, $14,496.

Tomorrow is the city election. Go here to find out how to vote if you haven't received a mail ballot and still want to vote.

Don't let just one quarter of the voters in this community decide who will serve as mayor and on City Council.

As of Friday, 55,625 people had voted, or about 25 percent of the 225,104 ballots issued. That compares to 59,193 ballots cast by the Friday before the 2011 city election. In that election, about 32,000 voted in the election's final four days, with a final tally of 91,190. Even if we match that this year, fewer people would have voted this year than in 2011.
