Story Coffee finds a home in Acacia Park

Posted By on Wed, Mar 2, 2016 at 10:06 AM

In early December we met Story Coffee Company, the tiny-house coffee shop that was parked in Acacia Park for the duration of Skate in the Park.

After mid January, the outfit wasn't sure where they'd be moving for a more permanent location, but as fate has it, the answer is "not far."

In fact, "across the park" suffices.

According to co-owner Don Niemyer, "we have signed a contract with Parks and Rec to stay in Acacia, but relocate closer to the street."

Which means up against Bijou Street, directly behind the park's band shell.

Look for a grand opening celebration around the first week of April, says Niemyer.
