In January, we spoke to Italian architect Arturo Vittori
, creator of Warka sculptures
, as part of our coverage of Hydro-Logic: Artists and Designers as Change Agents for Water
at Colorado College's I.D.E.A. Space.
In that article, we mentioned that Vittori would be venturing to Taiwan in mid March as one of three finalists for the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design's World Design Impact Prize
As it turns out, Vittori won the award
, which "seeks to increase awareness of industrial design driven projects that are making a positive impact on our social, economic, cultural and/or environmental quality of life."
A big congrats to Vittori and his team.
