I've been going to this local coffee shop for over ten years and while its only on occasion that I find the time to get out of the office for a treat like this, I wasn't treated to the best of experience just today. The moment I sat down with a client of mine for a lunch meeting, and pulled out our laptops the owner immediately started harassing us about being "free loafers" and when I explained that I'm a regular he started to call my client and I names and shoved both us out the door screaming that he doesn't want any business. I had to file a complaint with the local BBB over this. If this is how local businesses act then maybe they deserve to lose to the bigger chains.
