Re: “Art on the Streets

Hello!
PERHAPS A DATE RANGE would help?
Through NEXT SUMMER....2013 is the "next" summer. But it's also THIS summer....

Clicking the Downtown link does nothing at present...
Except for a blurb as worthless as this one...

Does anyone bother to fact check links before publishing them???

Re: “World Organ Day Concert

Re: “Black Testament

These are fantastic shows, and I'm not just saying that because I work for the BAC!
Also, "Bella Cerchia," with Ramona Lapsley's prints and Larry Terrafranca's sculptures, will be up through June 15.

Re: “Lost Junction

"Lost" is the key word. "Junction" should be "junk shun".

Re: “"KoKo" Unveiling

That was a wonderful and heartening event. Jay is a delightfully talented artist who's brought so much life to the landscape of our lives and homes.
His talent will be truly missed.

Re: “15th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

This is the premiere event for dads to take their daughters. Geared towards the girls, they truly are treated like princesses. This will be my 8th event with my daughter and we wouldn't miss it!

Re: “Wunderkind

The "Wunderkind" show has work I certainly couldn't have done in high school and seriously doubt I could do now!

Re: “Marisol

WOW! To the entire cast and crew, WELL PLAYED! My eyes and ears and emotions were always engrossed in the action or the emotion or the visuality of the performance. Parts of it reminded me of a Alice In Wonderland, or its darker cousin, the Labyrinth. Some of it reminded me of a contemporary ballet I saw at the Opera House in Sidney. Some of it was haunting. It will stay with me for a long time. Well played, my friends.

Re: “Slugworth

Slugworth is WORTH the trip to the Ritz. Funnest most entertaining cover band I've seen. Totally amazing and unexpected song list. Go see them. And other bands, go see them too and take a few pointers.

Re: “City Council Forum — Live and Online

The HBA seems to have strong opinions of the candidates for city council, endorsing only two incumbents. Keep in mind that they made endorsements before all candidates were even listed. It seems pretty obvious that the HBA is after the land grab downtown and are looking to fill city council with folks who can help them attain it. The endorsement by the HBA should be seen as an asterisk that identifies the candidates that have been bought and paid for. These candidates are not seeking the best interest of the people of CS... why else would you consider shuttering a power plan with 20 years life in favor of buying electricity from Xcel.

Educate yourself and vote smart in April.
