Shane gave a very thought provoking performance at a venue that was well suited for the classical guitar. His playing added to the atmosphere of the place. My friends and I were able to enjoy each others company without having to shout to hear one another.

A definite must see! Not only is the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum worth the visit but this exhibit is like frosting on a wedding cake!
Art from local artists, artists from around the United States, China and Malaysia grace the walls. Give yourself plenty of time, every one is special and deserves a ribbon!

I think this bishop is no longer partnered to the man with whom he was in the movie...plus he is no longer the Bishop of New Hampshire, but has been replaced by a married bishop who has a wife and children.

The Sunday June 9th matinee is already SOLD OUT! There are two more matinees - June 16th and June 23rd. Matinee shows begin at 4pm.

I love the MeadowGrass festival with my whole heart. You know, the heart that likes a great mix of local and national talent in a scenic setting with great food and camping, to boot. If you like live folk, bluegrass and roots music at all, you should go.

Monsanto is a corrupt and selfish corporation, ever since they claimed there was no danger to humans in dioxan...agent orange, that has destroyed thousands of veterans health, while the Monsanto board marches to the bank with their millions of dollars in profits.
Monsanto is the ugliest of an ugly American capitalism.

Hear Here has been a new experience for me and one that has me coming back for more. It's warm, friendly, loving and diverse. Everyone has a smile on their face by the time they leave. I know personally it brightens my week to come and have my soul filled.
Life would be far duller without this event and it's community, my community.
Plus don't be afraid to hit the mic. I read my second poem ever written and they welcomed me to their home and made me feel like their family. I never thought I could read something so personal, thinking it was too depressing or of poor quality or that no one would understand. But they do and they will for you too.

But it is not true. If you are unable to pay, even through legitimate hardship, they will not see you. They will look you in the face, saying they are sorry, and turn you away.
This is a study lab. You are a lab rat. They have no interest or means to help you -- they only want to poke you, watch you squirm, and note down the results.
Legitimate compassion, concern, help are very hard to find in this world. You will not find them here.
