Ever since ownership changed, this place has been awful. The food and drinks are over priced and not to mention my wife got sick from the dessert. If you're really looking for a good sports bar to go to before the Sox game, go to Holy Cow, they're food is hotter, beer is colder and staff is prettier!
The bar is under new ownership and it's about to take The Springs by Storm with live entertainment and much more.
I went there to attend a fundraiser for a guy who has bone cancer. I am a biker and had leathers on of course, also a small swastika pin that was given me by a friend. My friend told me an uncle was owner of that pin and died on the Russian Front during WWII. I wear it so that I can tell people what our country is becoming should they ask. Triple Dickle guys refused to let me in. Someone might be offended they said. Yeah, I am offended. I went around the side of the building (you know, smokers pen) and gave 50 bucks to the guy running the fundraiser and split. Pathetic people running this bar. I was in there at Christmas prior to that and told jokes and stories. Had everybody laughing but that memory is tarnished now by narrow minds of the employees.
Oh, I see "Black Pussy" is playing! I am offended by that racist sounding band name. And it is racist even though they may think it is cute. Put on your white sheets and go to the Dribbling Dickel. It is a dump as well.
Kevin the the folks at Bricks are the best! The place is incredibly clean, the food is delicious (try the reuben egg rolls) the drinks are strong and the customer service is incredible. The sound system is great and when the jukebox is playing it's loud enough to enjoy the music but not so loud you can't carry on a conversation. This is a GREAT neighborhood bar and a great place to hang out. Oh, the prices are right too with great drink and food specials every night of the week. They are open for lunch as well. Check it out!
Can't believe the changes, great atmosphere, drinks and food. Plenty of entertainment too. You need to come down and experience this new hotspot in Colorado Springs. Something for everyone.
The improvements to the building and the atmosphere since becoming Bricks has been a very welcomed change. The owner and staff are all extremely friendly and eager to make sure that your experience there is a good one. The new menu is phenomenal with my personal favorite being the Reuben Egg Rolls that you can only get at Bricks! Whether you are looking for good food, great drinks, a few games of pool, or just night life entertainment, Bricks is a great place to be.
Lots of improvements both inside and out. The owners and staff work very hard to keep everyone coming back again and again. If you are looking for a place that has something for everyone's taste, you need to check them out!
I wish I could get out more often so I could enjoy the great food and entertainment provided at Bricks Sports Bar & Grill. The new owner and staff are awsome and making improvements so folks can have a better experience while spending time there. I love to sing Karaoke and usually go on Wednesdays. Rick runs the show on Wednesday and I haven't heard a better sound system that really gives a singer more confidence because it projects the voice so well and Rick knows how to make adjustments that complement each individual singer. I encourage everyone to visit the Bar and find out what the weekly events are, I think you will be happy you did.
I've made sure all my dates take me there! Why? Because Max makes me feel like a movie star. No matter how much time goes by, he always greets me by name and makes me feel special and welcome!
The rooms in this old building offer some privacy, while everyone feels free to meander about. Max the sous chef is also fun to talk to: you will find him in the back room behind the bar. That didn't sound right. It's his station.
Follow the little brick path to the door on the side of the building to find the bar and say hello to Max for me, either one.
Went to Nosh the other day...and it is really hard now to get a glass of water...what is that about?
Good place with usually good music. Open mic Thursdays pretty much sucks. Bartenders are friendly (Hi Jamie Hi Ashley) until 2 AM then you better go! Hey they wanna go home! The smoking area is freezing in the winter. Men's room is small and smells. Deck out back is okay. A better sound system would be nice.
Gringo...I guess it is personal...I am a better beer drinker than anything else I do...but I always feel dissed and abused and robbed at Trinity. Never felt so taken at any place i have bought a beer in Colorado Springs...so I do take it all as you perceive.
Also...every single brew pub in the Springs makes generally better beer...so why be abused and have your evening spoiled when you can drink better beer and your patronage be appreciated somewhere else.
I have not been there in some time but when I was I really appreciated all the Belgian ales on tap. That is very hard to find. If you appreciate Belgian ales you can do worse.
Tejon- I usually like your reviews but it seems like it's personal with you. You have too many entries on here and it's watering down your comments. Just my thoughts.
Jason is kind of a hippy dude, I met him when he was the brewmaster at Bristol's. He certainly has talent.
Just mentioned this to a friend who immediately regaled me with tales of rude treatment and whacko bad beer...the verdict is in.
Just to make sure my review above registers...I am posting again.
Lots of people who were excited about this place when it opened no longer even consider going...I never hear someone say, Hey I was at Trinity last night. It is an closed crowd of which, unless you are a head case, you would problem not want o be a part.
Bricks Sports Bar & Grill is a in the old location for Studebakers. If your looking for a place to enjoy a neighborhood feel in central Colorado Springs then this is a great place to do it. They have been doing many improvements and the food is fantastic. Live music is starting every Friday on May 12th. Plenty of free parking. Pool, darts, fooseball and lots of TV's.
Went for lunch today to try the new menu. It had a lot of interesting food that all sounded sooo good. I had The Bomb sandwich. That is a perfect name it was truly the bomb, it had egg salad and pastrami. My husband had the Peking chicken and asparagus fries which were amazing. My son had fish and chips and he liked those. OH yeah started with the Man Candy, you can't go wrong with spicy/sweet bacon.
"nightowl" is obviously pitching a band which is probably friends with "nightowl" and using this review forum to get them on MTV?! Nah! Nobody could be that lame.

Re: “Townhouse Lounge”
I first came to The Townhouse to hear Neighborhood Bully play and let me tell you...it was very energetic, lively, and crowd pleasing. The staff is awesome, fast... they have this ship well oiled. Now I go each time the Bullies play because I love to dance, let my hair down and cut up with friends. Townhouse is a place just for that!
