Best place to shop in Colorado springs for any of your cookware needs, they also have the best and most complete cookware store you've ever seen!
Note: Friday July 20th is not Adam Lopez. It is just The Ticket.
My first experience with them my breaks where squeaking on a fairly new Nissan. We took the car to the service center at my dealership; they said it would be a $450 repair. We took it to aspen and they said it was just a little dust and they cleanned them for around $30. That was a year ago and my breaks are still great. When my old Dodge broke down today I knew who to call. I'm sure they saved me thousands today. They have always been up front about what I need to do and what I "should" do and why. The technician even took me back to the shop, showed me why my car died, what needed to be done and what he was doing. Bonus I had just left the gym and stood in the sun for an hour waiting for the tow truck. I was starved and dehydrated. They have a very nice waiting room filled with free snacks and refreshments. What I was sure was gonna turn into a call to the junk yard only cost me a total of $130. Big shout out and THANK YOU to the Aspen Auto team!
2011 marks the 3rd year of operation for Pens & Needles! In those years we have been blessed with the opportunity to be voted Best of Colorado in 2010, and 2011 by our customers! As a owner I WANT to show the community and public who we are as a business, and as artist. We aren't a business that is afraid to let past, and present customers know how people feel about us! But we are a business that can truly say "hey we will try harder and work harder to fix it" because it may sound cheesy but we really do care about what you think! Every review good and bad is a gift for us to acknowlegde and learn from! We want to be more efficient, ensure satisfaction and quality for every customer! As I always mention that we are human I will never use that as an excuse to say that we made a mistake, simply I will just promise you to correct them! Pens & Needles is taking the steps to educate ourselves on what you need as customers, as well as what the community needs as a leader in this industry! We are going above to educate our artist as well as staff! Whiether its continued education in body art, or business practices; we appreciate the feedback. Thank you! For taking your time to express, and more importantly thinking enough of us to tell us the good and bad that you experienced! We listen, I listen and my day depends on the good and bad expressed as it gives me direction!
the west side closed a few days ago due to lease issues, so I hit the south side bargain mart on south academy and Hancock and its so full!!! it was great!!! With one store the owners dont have to split the inventory!!! I think it will be great! :-)
Mr "Mike" Nelson Barber, I have been going there quite a few years. Mr Nelson is a good man with a following of down to earth people. Getting your hair cut at this vintage barber shop has been an high light of many of my days. You never know who shows up and what the topic of conversation will be that day. The waits and the cuts are good. GB
From the moment my husband and I entered Lucy & Louise Paint the Town, we knew we were going to have a unique and fun date night! The atmosphere was welcoming with bright, festive decor while upbeat music played in the background. We settled-in with a set of brushes, an apron tied on, a glass of sparkling lemonade and a blank canvas resting on an easel. Bev, the owner/artist of Lucy & Louise Paint the Town, led us through a series of steps to create the featured painting, which was a Christmas tree for our class (or we could choose to paint whatever our hearts desired). As we painted the night away, we were entertained by Bev's southern charm, funny stories and encouragement that we would see our own individual creativity blossom on the canvas. When our artwork needed to dry, we enjoyed a break to shop at Lucy & Louise Atelier and mingle with the other painters. By the end of the night, we gathered for a group photo with our whimsical paintings, new friends and fun memories captured forever. We highly recommend this new, inspiring experience for a date night, girls-night-out, or just a treat for your own soul! Once you try it, you'll soon be Painting the Town along with us and starting a collection of masterpieces!

nice atmosphere, great service, and very friendly
I'm a big fan of Garden of the Gods Gourmet. Love their take-home soups, breads, and Curry Chicken Salad. I recently tried their "Dinner with the Chef" and had a wonderful evening enjoying food prepared in the kitchen by Chef Larissa. The food was wonderful and the price was very reasonable. You have to make reservations in advance, but I would highly recommend it to others.
Most of my current wardrobe was purchased here over the years and I still love all of it! Timeless fashion!
one of the best toy store in the US and I've been to tons!!! Great people, no name brands, just good clean fun!!! And the staff is super helpful!
great kitch and beautiful art! I can find a gift for anyone here!!!
A fun, mellow, locals-driven venue ... come early if you want to sit. Local brews and wine come out about even with this crowd. As an out-of-towner I felt very welcome -- music (Tenderfoot Bluegrass) was local and a fun band -- not as much old-time as I like, but still a nice night out --- town is cute but a bit of a sideshow. After two weeks on N. Academy Drive inally found a place where CO Springs "lets it's hair down".
Bryan and Scott Jewelers is by far the best jewelry and fine antique store in Colorado Springs. No othere store in the city can compare. By going to Bryan and Scott, one can see items of exquisite beauty that can usually be found only in large cosmopolitan cities in this country and in Europe. It is truly a connoiseure's treasure.
The only place in town that I feel both socially and morally comfortable shopping.
Greatest liquor store on the Westside! Super nice people!
Tremendous breads. Best Whole Wheat I've ever had, except for my own "Al Dente Whole Wheat" secret recipe. Nice people. Free samples on the counter. Marvelous Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Loaf that is heavy and dense. Many healthy breads to choose from.
Re: “Sparrow Hawk Cookware”
They are the most well stocked kitchen shop in Colorado...with all those wonderful little things you never knew you needed and now can't live without.
Not to mention the owners are always there, glad to see people come in, and full of good advice cheerfully offered.
