If there was a way to leave a zero star rating I would. They are extremely over priced, I have seen items in the store in horrible condition and not even cleaned being priced for what you can find it brand new at a store. They always switch locations and change the business name as soon as enough people realize they are being ripped off, the store has been the bargain bin and willies treasures previously. They dont offer refunds or anything but yet they dont check whether their items even work or not and quite frequently they dont work and you are stuck with what you bought not working. If you are considering being a vendor and selling things through their store I encourage you to reconsider. The owners wilma and sandra lynch feel that because they own the building they are entitled to take what they want from you. If you do become a vendor at this location I suggest keeping a constant inventory of your things to make sure everything that should be there is still there.
We recently started going to Cheapies Discount Store located on Fillmore where the old Dollar World was located. They are still in the process of stocking the store, but they have some really high quality products and the food is not expired. The store is clean and the staff is really friendly. Check 'em out.
Mike who? The Motel What? Never hoid of him!
Petrie's has moved to a larger space! Come visit the new store at 7681 N. Union Blvd on the NE corner of Briargate and Union.
Something very unexplainable is going on with this Company. First, we were able to select a vehicle we desire pretty quickly from the website. The website appears to be a generally developed site by Subaru to all of its deals.
At first, when we called the Sales Reps, well you know, they were Sales Reps. A price was tentatively agreed upon. However, once they realized it was going to be a cash deal, the company became very toned and hostile, and created some of the most unusual excuses NOT to sell a car. Yes, cash in hand, and they would not sell a vehicle for the following reasons:
1. It wanted an additional $1000.00, in advance of the full cost of the vehicle, which they, 'might' return. The company refused to describe what the terms of the $1000.00 was for.
2. It wanted me to fill-out a credit application for its own use.
3. It wanted us to go through a credit background check.
What the $(%*. So, I properly and timely escalated, what I thought was a misunderstanding: A car company did not want to sell a vehicle to a fully-paid out the door vehicle to a customer. I called Subaru of North America, and they basically told me, they did not care what happened to the vehicle once they handed it over to the various sales store. Wow ! ! !
I received a confirmed email and text from both internet sales director and car sales director, that their policy of discriminately asking for money and full credit checks, and background checks was the way they do business and if I do not like it, the deal was canceled. I countered and offered them to go through a credit check of mine, a security check and make a deposit to me, to secure until delivery of the vehicle. They declined, and said no more business.
I do not care what kind of business they have sold to other people on what or who they are. I have never ever heard of a car company turning down a cash deal, until this one. There is only one reason I can foresee why they did it. They do not make enough money on a cash deal and would rather use those vehicles and practices to leverage many more unwitting people. Buyer be ware. Nonetheless, this terrible decision and experience by both Subaru (which I really respected) and its sales businesses has all but ensured I will not ever consider Subaru again.
Moved to 3020 w. Colorado Ave #A. Check us out!
Good place to shop for some home supplies when living in Falcon, CO.
I had an awesome experience here!!! If it weren't for the owner I never would have survived my first day stripping. She not only set me up with some great stuff but also gave me inc-readable advice that saved my life that day. TOTAL LIFE SAVER. I would recommend to every one. (Oh and she even let me use the bathroom!!!!) Maybe you were just rude? Eh its standard procedure to see anybody's ID when entering an adult store. (duh)
The BEST place to go for fabric and yarn in town!!! Awesome, fun classes that teach you everything you need to know... if you're crafty, you need to get down to Fabric Bliss NOW!
This place is terrible. I called Tuesday (8/20/2013) to ask if they were selling FTV:20 and ask if they were taking pre-orders. I was told by the gentleman on the phone that no they were selling them first come first serve and they were going to get 10 of them and they would be for sale for slightly above msrp. I explained I wanted one for my boyfriends birthday and he said that he usually opens a little early and if I got there early when he opened up I could get one if I was the first one there. I came in Thursday night (tonight) and was told that they had five FTV:20's and they were all "spoken for" I told the person behind the counter exactly what I was told Tuesday and he said that person I spoke with was not handling the FTV:20's and he had no idea what he was talking about despite the fact that gentleman I spoke with Tuesday said he also owned the store.
The man I spoke with then changed his story saying they did have ten but that wasnt really a lot (other places also got ten, twenty at the most since Wizards of the Coast made it a limited set) and that FTV:20 was like a "bar of gold" and said he wouldnt be selling them in the store. So were they spoken for? Or is he going to jack the price up and sell them on e-bay later? How would Wizards of the Coast feel if they knew this store was ripping people off instead of spreading their product for the MSRP of $40?
I was informed I could get one online for 250 and the man at the counter asked me questions about all the other places in town. I told him they did pre-orders and they sold them for 40 dollars like they were supposed to. All his customers heard me say that so I hope someone was a pre-order person who can tell if he's scamming people.
In short from the ten minutes I spent in his store it was dirty, the carpet was filthy, it smelled sickly sweet like garbage that had cheap deodorant sprayed over it. The person at the front counter was rude, lied to me, and the merchandise, that I have seen sold all over town, was marked up to twice the price. Do yourself a favor and go to places like Enchanted Realms, Gamer Haven, and Muse. Even Dalez, who has a history of being expensive is a better place than this.
Fabulous spices! More importantly, great natural products for optimizing the body's ability to heal itself. I am feeling better, increasingly more active and am off pain meds. So grateful to have found Organica!
They DO have a large selection, but I have found the same yarns for lower prices in other stores. What they DON'T have is helpful, friendly employees. The older woman who was there when I was answered my questions with sarcastic comments and seemed to be resentful that I would even ask.
All the fun of going there is gone, gone, gone. They immediately get your name written down off your ID due to shoplifters. Or take your ID if you protest... whichever you prefer...either way, you are a criminal the minute you walk in. If you're a little shy, don't go in the door. Hubby and I will be shopping online in a different company. One lady there is super nice, the other not so much. No bathroom access and continuously on surveillance ... No thanks. Treating those willing to spend $$$ like that will sink any store... Fast.
same manager as the one I had as a sales lady down south. Didnt remember me.. and once again tried to upsell me with bad advice and product.. they have some nice stuff but their upper end line of product is a little over price considering the product reviews.. and her knowledge is still more to be desired.. could be a great place but back off on the pressure sales.. I dont need someone breathing down my neck for a sale.
This store could be great.. but it is not!!! The staff is a bunch of women that pretend to know the product.. But to be real, they don't know anything.. The manager was running the show and tried to up sell me like a used car sales person. That wouldn't of been so bad but she tried to sell me a cock pump with out a gauge that was more expensive and cheaper quality than the one I picked out with a gauge.. If this is what they call well trained then they are going to hurt someone from lack off or misrepresented knowledge. no stars for this manager.. She wears glasses and works at both stores. very rude..
Well it used to be a great store until prices went sky high! Then I applied for a job there and met the arrogant, male shavanist pig that interviewed me and now I have an entirely different perspective of the place. I was asked questions like "are you married" and when he noticed my zip code on the application he said, "oh you live in the ritzy Broadmoor neighborhood!" I was appalled! He told me if I were hired it was my job to make the store money, not save the customers money by teaching them how to do something or sew. I would have to ask his permission on most everything. Maybe that's why the employee moral is so low! I know I sure wouldn't want to work for the man! Everything is so much cheaper at Wal Mart or Hancock Fabrics. And the people smile and help you.
I would give 5 stars except for the service is not as reliable or respectful as it could be throughout the staff. Staff is older and assumes you know what you want and where to find it. They don't take kindly to having to walk around the store themselves. I hope I'm not being fair and this was just one person among them who displayed this lackadaisical attitude to a first time customer who plans to be a repeat one if it hounds you to death. lol STILL this is a phenomenal store as far as its content. Unique and well stocked.
Love the hemp clothing, designed with comfort in mind, and perfect wear for the artist in you. Sometimes it's a bit more hectic than I like, maybe because it is tourist season then, but there is another store in Old Colorado City! That is an alternative to seasonal crowds. They have everything you could want at Pyramide! Hats, jewelry, bags, and scarves included.
HI, I LIVE IN MEXICO, BUT I TRAVEL TO COLORADO FRECUELTLY I WOULD LIKE WATCH ITEMS LIST WHICH YOU HAVE ON SALE FOR CHOSE AND BUY WHEN I GO TO COLORADO, THANK YOU SO MUCH ,
The Yarn Outlet has graduated from being a discount yarn store to being a top destination for every yarn from I'm-just-learning-acrylics to designer cashmere, silk, alpaca and organic hand-painted special fibers. Their needle and accessory selection is great and it is now even less likely that you can leave without buying something. The owner is helpful and friendly and so are the knitters, of whom I am happy to be a regular one.
