Great shop love the smoothies !
Quaint "old victorian" shop with great people and a great vibe. Used to be Firehouse BBQ, located in a renovated turn of the century fire station on Colorado Blvd. just off of 8th street. Conveniently located just outside of downtown Colorado Springs; 2 blocks or so from I-25 just west of 8th Street.
Feels a lot like a neighborhood hang-out. Great place to watch the game, read a book, have a conversation, or just take some down time.
Jeff and Caryn Andrews are the owners and are usually there meeting people and making them feel like family. I highly recommend this place as a "must visit" for locals and guests.
I had an awesome experience here!!! If it weren't for the owner I never would have survived my first day stripping. She not only set me up with some great stuff but also gave me inc-readable advice that saved my life that day. TOTAL LIFE SAVER. I would recommend to every one. (Oh and she even let me use the bathroom!!!!) Maybe you were just rude? Eh its standard procedure to see anybody's ID when entering an adult store. (duh)
Front Range is sadly underrated for their wonderful marriage of very very good food and quality music. No words can describe their delectable meals. And whoever books their bands really know what they're doing because we've seen some great acts come through here, most of them traveling from afar. Not sure why they advertise it as "southern rock" because musicians have come from Philly, Boston, etc., and have a wise variety of soulful sounds. If you want excellent food from a restaurant that has great taste in music, this is the place to be.
The Carey On is my favorite country bar! They have a great dance floor, fantastic music, and the staff is friendly and fun. I often go by myself, and I always feel safe and have a great time. I love seeing the owner LeShawn and DJ Johnny Law wandering through the crowd making everyone feel welcome. I love this place!
Umm... maybe because the show was canceled.
THE CLOSER: any reason why you all took it off?
The BEST place to go for fabric and yarn in town!!! Awesome, fun classes that teach you everything you need to know... if you're crafty, you need to get down to Fabric Bliss NOW!
Beer is good but service usually really sucks. I avoid the overpriced food and the owner. I do like the diverse guest tap offerings but they too are overpriced. Have a couple cold Flos and go down the road to more friendly people.
snooty pricks, overpriced beer, lame ass way overpriced food, and did I mention snooty pricks? will never go back
This place is terrible. I called Tuesday (8/20/2013) to ask if they were selling FTV:20 and ask if they were taking pre-orders. I was told by the gentleman on the phone that no they were selling them first come first serve and they were going to get 10 of them and they would be for sale for slightly above msrp. I explained I wanted one for my boyfriends birthday and he said that he usually opens a little early and if I got there early when he opened up I could get one if I was the first one there. I came in Thursday night (tonight) and was told that they had five FTV:20's and they were all "spoken for" I told the person behind the counter exactly what I was told Tuesday and he said that person I spoke with was not handling the FTV:20's and he had no idea what he was talking about despite the fact that gentleman I spoke with Tuesday said he also owned the store.
The man I spoke with then changed his story saying they did have ten but that wasnt really a lot (other places also got ten, twenty at the most since Wizards of the Coast made it a limited set) and that FTV:20 was like a "bar of gold" and said he wouldnt be selling them in the store. So were they spoken for? Or is he going to jack the price up and sell them on e-bay later? How would Wizards of the Coast feel if they knew this store was ripping people off instead of spreading their product for the MSRP of $40?
I was informed I could get one online for 250 and the man at the counter asked me questions about all the other places in town. I told him they did pre-orders and they sold them for 40 dollars like they were supposed to. All his customers heard me say that so I hope someone was a pre-order person who can tell if he's scamming people.
In short from the ten minutes I spent in his store it was dirty, the carpet was filthy, it smelled sickly sweet like garbage that had cheap deodorant sprayed over it. The person at the front counter was rude, lied to me, and the merchandise, that I have seen sold all over town, was marked up to twice the price. Do yourself a favor and go to places like Enchanted Realms, Gamer Haven, and Muse. Even Dalez, who has a history of being expensive is a better place than this.
Trinity has great beers! and the guest taps are bar none. However, the owner is not a very great guy, I have seen him stumbling drunk in the bar harassing other patrons and kicking people out that have done no wrong. He will try to pick fights with others who aren't in 100% compliance with his philosophy on beer. I have brought a lot of friends here and have never been so disappointed in an owner and a business. I really LOVED this brewery but the lack of professionalism and poor service from the bar staff has stopped me from coming here.
Great bands/music but the bartenders and most of the waitresses have a bad attitude and service is very slow. Especially on Thursday, Eric the Thursday night bartender sucks in so many ways, he's slow (I'm tired from my full time job he complains!), and Eric is a total pig towards women. Bartender Shea on Tuesdays and Waitress Jennifer could use an attitude tune up too. Chad, who claims to be the owner seems disconnected from what's going on.
Wonderful staff members include waitresses Annie & Mary, both JJ's and Zack from the kitchen.
I love this bar! My meet my husband here a year ago. The owner is awesome and make everyone feel welcome. She allowed my husband and I to get married at the bar. We always feel welcome and love the live bands that they have every Friday night.
As an Irish American I prefer Quinn's, but am really offended when Italians come in when I am drinking a Harp, and they order a Peroni...it offends my tastes and my heritage, and I demand reparations and casino rights on Monument creek.
A Hogan is a traditional home style of the Navajo people pronounced hooghan in Navajo. The Navajo Hogan in the north of Colorado Springs is of this style, and thus named for it. Stop inside and you can see the original “Hogan” plus the additional “Hogan” that was added late. So Real Navajo Dale get over it because there is something Navajo about this place.
Fabulous spices! More importantly, great natural products for optimizing the body's ability to heal itself. I am feeling better, increasingly more active and am off pain meds. So grateful to have found Organica!
In response to KP Reynolds. I am the owner and operator of Bricks Sports Bar & Grill. I will state absolutely that we DO NOT refill bottles and I resent the implication and the method in which this tripe is being voiced. I am often at Bricks and I will certainly take the time to address your accusations in person should you care to. Simply call 638-2022 to set up a time to meet. I am more then happy.

Went there with friends in July (2013) and ordered call liquor. What we got was definitely not the liquor we ordered and we're all well enough acquainted with that particular brand to know exactly what it isn't. Double-checked our bill and we still got charged for call so the bartender heard us correctly. One of us was watching the pour and the right bottle was used so they must be refilling call liquor bottles with cheap liquor. We just paid and left. No sense on coming back to a place that cheats us. I wonder if the law knows about this illegal practice?
I'm currently enjoying $1.50 drafts and .50 wings. (Great wings) Can't beat it.
