WOW...stumbled on this place while at the Ladies US Open...smiles all around, great coffee, and a breakfast sandwich to die for. Just a couple blocks from the broadmoor. Check it out!
The beer is 5 stars. 5 stars for the house brews and 5 stars for the large variety of excellent guest brews. I always have a fovorite or two to drink and a new one to sample. Food os goof, not great. They are not trying to be a restaurant...they ae supplementing the beer. Service has been friendly.
One more comment on the Goth Night. We love having it. We'd love to expand it and I'd love to book some goth bands if you know of any locally or in state. In order to grow Goth Night there needs to be a good showing for it each week. It's getting better all the time. That said, your suggestions about how it could improve are always welcome. I know Gentle always has an open ear and is looking to make it as good as it can be. So, thanks for your feedback.
Working hard on the bar food scenario. I have been booking the shows there for the last couple months and I agree that food is a huge plus for any place. I kind of look at it like this... my favorite places in Denver (to see shows) all have some sort of food attached or next door. So, that would be a win-win for Zodiac. Hopefully, we can make it happen in the near future.
Don't listen to white daisy she don't know jack duh she from a small mountain town hillbillies don't know jack about MMJ Ive been as far as Montrose Colorado tasting so she is full of crap the mountain MMJ is garbage thats why they all come down here and Denver duh! It don't take a genus to know that!Ive had my license for a long time and have been EDUCATING the ill informed about what to look for in good MMJ and Angie is one of my students.Whitedaisy i'm sure knows them personally or works for them!everything Angie said is correct!
Eagles Nest and their wonderful staff have made such a difference in my life with chronic pain. It's NOT about the "pot", it's about how to care for yourself as a well rounded whole. Thank you all for giving me my hope back!
I WOULD RATE THIS PLACE TRIPLE ZERO, UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE TO LEAVE A ONE STAR AND IT HURTS. RUDE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ACT AS IF THEY ARE DOING YOU A FAVOR. HOGS WOULDN'T EVEN EAT THAT FOOD. IF YOU ENJOY BURN SOGGY SOUR FRIES, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. NOW I KNOW WHY THE PLACE IS ALWAYS EMPTY. THE OWNER IS A HOLE TOO. BAD ENERGY IN THAT PLACE, VERY NEGATIVE.GREAT PLACE TO GO UTE INN (WOODLAND PARK), AWESOME, FRIENDLY OWNER & EMPLOYEES, ALSO RECOMMEND THE SILVER TONGUE DEVIL SALOON (GREEN MOUNTAIN FALLS).
It is fun and corny songs are part of why it is. A very authentic UK style pub with prices that won't kill too bad considering it's part of the Broadmoore.
Good food and a great atmosphere.
Neighborhood Lounge says it all. This place is in the Cimarron Hills neighborhood on Peterson and Palmer Park in a little strip mall shopping center. Locals abound everyday and are generally very welcoming. Drink prices are very reasonable and the bartenders are very friendly.
Lunch specials are the norm Tuesday through Friday and are also priced right and full of homemade goodness. Open faced steak sandwich (a NY strip no less), meatloaf and the famous green chili smothered buritto.
A pool room with 3 tables and 3 dart boards (2 plastic and one steal tip).
Live music is only on occasion. Karaoke every Friday night though.
The crow is diverse as it ranges from construction worker to PHD.
Go there and feel welcome
Wyatts is a breath of fresh air for this neighborhood. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming plus the food is delicious. We have nothing but good things to say about Wyatts. Welcome to the neighborhood.
The New Owners of the Silver Tounge Devil have THE PERFECT get away spot for a relaxing nite out! The music is great and the food is fantastic!! I have lived in Teller Cnty for 11 years and there is NO PLACE that compares! Everyone should come out and see for yourselves :)
El mejor trato que he tenido por parte de la familia Hillery, respetuosos y muy amables. Gracias
Check out Mike's new digs at 2812 W. Colorado Ave. #103!
My dad (Scotty) owned the Keg for 20 years before Mud bought it and I must say the food now is 1000 times better now than it ever was... It is a neighborhood bar and they don't take kindly to being hasseled... Even if you're right, it don't matter...
there's plenty of other good neighbor bars all within walking distance of the Keg...
try one of them next time...
Wow, such negative comments on this place. When you have everyone stating how bad this place sucks, why would anyone want to come here. I just moved to Colorado Springs, and the big sign outside caught my eye. I was thinking about going to Copperhead for my Anniversary, but forget it now. If a place is great and had awesome customer service, then the owner would not have to a big stupid sign outside of its establishment. Way to go Copperhead. You lost a customer, and I did not even visit you yet. Please get a clue!!
The staff of Enlightened Care are knowledgeable, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond the scope of necessity in order to inform their patients and assist their community. When going through the process of enrollment and licensing, they walk you step by step to prevent anything being incorrect. I would always recommend them to anyone who wants an honest and knowledgeable MMJ provider/caregiver.
Gotta love this place! It is the mold by which true live music clubs in the Springs were formed! Thanks to the "King of Colorado Springs live rocknroll clubs and original legendary owner George Harrison. ALWAYS will he be loved and NEVER forgotten . Rest-Assured now that all the girls in heaven are now kissed regularly!! Oh yes- the bar- it still rocks better than ever ! Go see for your self and ask for Johanna she is one unforgetably georgrous hostess that keeps this legendary club rockin on through the ages!
I visited this establishment for the firt time on June 4, 2011 with two friends. It was after the wine fest and we wanted to sit, have some drinks, and have some food. One of the persons with us was the DD, so she ordered water. My friend and I recieved our drinks right away, but the water for the DD took 20 minutes. I found the bartender and asked him for the water, explaining it had taken 20 minutes. When the water came it was brown and dirty. My friend (not the DD) asked the bartender for another water, explaining the one he sent was dirty. At that time he pointed at me and said I was "hasseling him" already about the water and refused to replace it. When I asked for the owner he falsely claimed to be the owner (I found out by calling later) and told me to leave "his " bar. He even went so far as to call the police to make me leave, though I was waiting for the DD to come back from the restroom. When I called later to find out who the owner was he answered the first time and told me he wouldn't get into trouble because his mom owned the bar. IDK if mom wants her business run like that, but if this is any indication of how it is going to be run, then I and my associates will frequent another establishment. Love Manitou, very much dislike the Keg. I can't rate the food or value because I was told to leave before it came.
I have been to the Red Martini multiple times, and have ALWAYS had awesome service. The bartenders are great, always welcoming, remembering your name and previous conversations... like old friends, and are very knowledgeable about their mixology. I have taken lots of friends there and they always comment on what a great place it is. The entertainment isnt always stellar, but I go there for the drinks, so I'm good with that.
Mr "Mike" Nelson Barber, I have been going there quite a few years. Mr Nelson is a good man with a following of down to earth people. Getting your hair cut at this vintage barber shop has been an high light of many of my days. You never know who shows up and what the topic of conversation will be that day. The waits and the cuts are good. GB
