Horrible service. Been here twice, and both times I was ignored by the waitstaff for over 15 minutes. Would have left but was meeting people there. Took forever to get food out. The food is good- if you're into local, organic, vegetarian stuff, but the prices are a bit steep and the portions are very small. Was shocked by seitan gyro did not come with fries for the price.
Not the best by a long shot. Smelled moldy when I came in. The girls working are cool though.
I really liked the atmosphere when I first walked in and even the people were decent, but the crowd overall seemed snobish and not willing to mingle. I got over that quickly because I was there to smoke hookah anyways. Maybe five minutes into the night, one of the WORKERS there took off his shirt and started doing this weird bellydance for about 30 minutes. I was there with my boyfriend and it was very uncomfortable. I havent gone back since. If I wanted to see some half naked skinny freak strip, id go to a strip club. I have to admit, it was the most well kept place Ive seen in town for a hookah bar, but the dancing was offputting.
Nice people friendly and professional , but im sorry to say that your top shelf product was of very poor quality. Chlorifil-ley tasting in fact. just a 3 out of 10 for quality.
That was several months ago and i have not been back recently to see if things have improved. however your product gave a good argument to mandatory THC content testing which will raise prices for everyone , and was frankly such a waiste of money and lung power it is part of the reason i am here today.
Trying to do a good thing for my community where money comes hard for people these days.
The quality of pot there is nominal. The edibles are great, but customer service is NOT friendly. There is an employee there named Chelsea that doesn't need to work with people - maybe an animal shelter cleaning pens.
I give credit where credit is due- so I have to say that the only credit I give OCG's is to Anthony. He was 100% polite and had excellent customer service skills.
I try not to judge a book by it's cover so I looked passed the appearance of the building and even the inside decor.
So I'll start with the positives-
*Good Prices (same shelf pricing)
*Happy Hour 4-5 get a free half gram
*Keef Colas $4
Negatives-
*Half of the buds were not trimmed, very leafy and stemmy
*The UK Cheese, their self-proclaimed BEST STRAIN was not even fully cured. The stem was so moist it just bended, nowhere near that nice snap, crackle, pop that you get with well cured bud. When I mentioned to the budtender that the meds were not well trimmed if at all his reply was that when he did it, it was better.
*The buds were all pretty harsh hitting, not flushed well at all.
*The budtender spent time with me answering my questions to the best of his ability but when Paul the owner came in, he rudely mentioned several times that we needed to leave because other patients were waiting.
He might as well have said, here's ur crap, gimme ur money, next......
So with that said, as always, I encourage everyone to have their own opinion and find out for themselves.
I POSTED A PIC OF THAT UK CHEESE ON MY FACEBOOK PAGE..... NOT PRETTY AT ALL.... IN FACT, PRETTY SAD...... SORRY GUYS, you just didn't cut it...
I had a very disappointing meal at Canyon Coffee and Cafe today. An omelette that was poorly prepared with veggies. The green pepper slices were as big as my thumb. The eggs were undercooked. The English muffin was tasteless. The butter was a bit rancid. I'll not be eating there again. Apparently the owner is trying to sell the restaurant. I wonder if he's already left....
It sounds like it would be fun but it's REALLY corny - hated the songs.
Nice setting but really quiet, almost snoozing....and the food was mediocre at best. The wine list is good.
Bland, Bland, and bland. Looks like if you pay the indy they will give you a best of award. This is now the fifth restaruant we have tried that received the so called best of and they all fell very short.
If you're out bar hopping downtown and have dulled your taste buds, the generic quality of the food may not bother you. Would recommend you stick to chips/salsa out on the back patio than invest in a meal here. Margaritas are what they're known for, for a reason!
The place where hard-drinking locals go and ski travelers stop in for a beverage on their drive back to the Springs (b/c they aren't aware of how many DUI's Teller Cty brings in). Burgers are great. Two pool tables, a juke box, and outdoor patio. Once in awhile, good live music.
Went here to celebrate my birthday Feb. 2010. Ambience was unique, we sat on couches in the back b/c there was a group of us. I wasn't impressed with the sliders I ordered and would have liked to see a more diverse menu overall. This seemed to be the consensus of the group. If I just wanted to go for drinks, I might consider going back as their beers were good, but a bit pricey.
Standard "whitey" Mexican food that can be found anywhere. Insipid.
A few of my friends and I went there, one of my buddies ID was going to expire the next day, the vertically challenged bouncer made us pay him $40 to let us in, even though his ID was valid. My friend was to meet some friends there, so he paid it. Very expensive, very lame. Go to Triple Nickle, see REALLY good national touring bands and have an awesome night for less than $20.
Re: “The Liberal Store”
I really like this story, and have followed in through several locations. They are now on North Academy north of Union Blvd ( 5744 n Academy) between a church and a liquor store. Best to shop online first, then visit the store. Otherwise there is just TOOO much to see it all..
