Re: “The Greenroom Music Complex

Initially, you will feel welcome and comfortable. But, buyer BEWARE!!! The owner will strong-arm you into signing undeciferable contracts, high-jack your recordings if you decide to record in his "In-House" recording studio known as "Cottage", and threaten you constantly with his larger than life stature and will never let you forget he is ex-military and he has an "Italian" last name. The Green Room, friends, is NOT a place for musicians. It is a place for the Owner to gain monetary benefits for himself. If any one has a question of his business practices, just look into his old "Green Room", where he is currently in litigation for the last real estate debacle. Use extreme caution!!!

Re: “Motif

This brand new venue has huge potential! We LOVED the food - it is exceptional....the bernaise sauce on the Steak Tapas was among the best I've had. The salmon is a generous portion perfectly cooked in a ponzo sauce over spinach. We also tried the special which was a perfectly cooked Halibut. It is sooo rare to find a restaurant that understands how to prepare fresh fish in Colorado. While this is clearly not "fast food", but rather "made to order real food", we find the service warm and friendly and the atmosphere and music make for a pleasant wait. The perfect dry martini didn't hurt either. The Creme de Brulee was also the best I've had.....rich and creamy, yet light with a hint of cardemom and ginger! They also cater to the "Gluten Free" diners.... We hope they are so busy that they will expand service to weekdays or lunch as well.

Re: “Motif

Just what he Springs needs- a great venue with awesome jazz musicians. I agree that the noise level was ridiculous. Hopefully the jazz enthusiasts will prevail. I see lots of potential here.

Re: “Motif

Loved the food - truffle coated french fries, tempura fried bacon, tasty shrimps all with nice dipping sauces. The music was outstanding and the place was comfortable with an elegant, upscale vibe. Only complaint was the noise level in the room - lots of hard reflective surfaces and chatty youngsters.

Re: “The Greenroom Music Complex

I have given a few drum clinics at the Green Room Music Complex and they were a great success. Thanks to Craig, the owner, for his help in preparation, professionalism, and enthusiasm toward my events. The "Living Room" venue was perfect for drum clinics and the sound was amazing in the room. Re: “Motif

I'm very excited about this new venue and hope it thrives and prospers in our community. I'm hoping once the social bar flys are gone--these are the people who are currently crowding the place to just talk all over the music and treat it as background noise like they do at every other bar in town--then there will be room for real Jazz lovers to come out and appreciate great music and great musicians.

The service and the music is great. The pool table is a great addition along with the beer pong table. But check out the bartender/owner Mike. Talk about hot! Look out girls here he comes!

Re: “Community Congregational Church of Manitou Springs

We hope you always feel at home in the good graces of this little church located at the foot of Pikes Peak. The sanctuary was built in 1880 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For more than one hundred and thirty years people of faith have felt God's presence in the colorful beauty of stained glass windows and through sounds of sacred music played upon the old pipe organ. This is a place where faithful people meet in fellowship to explore and experience Christ's love. The church finds its religious roots to the mainline Protestant church tradition. It is a freethinking community of faith, which is ecumenical in both spirit and practice. The Holy Bible remains our guide and inspiration, and calls us to honor and respect all persons seeking God's love in Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that you always feel welcomed and at home with us. May blessings follow along with you in your pilgrimage of faith!

Re: “Ecumenical Social Ministries

one of the best places to get back into being a person by helping everyone who ask for help. ESM is well worth volunteering for if so declined. tax returns are also done in the building and they can advise you of other places. check into it and help out. Jerry

Re: “Music Street Tavern

Great service, next up and coming neighborhood bar! The bartender, Joel, is awesome (and hot) and makes excellent drinks at a wallet-friendly value. Great new venue for any kind of the local or out-of-town music scene. I will definitely go back on a regular basis.

Re: “Black Sheep

Wow, wow, wow. I won passes to the Minus the Bear show at the Black Sheep from the csindy and I am still in awe. The three bands were all very good. As Tall As Lions and Minus The Bear were outstanding. The staff are very concientious and controlled the audience with skill, not as easy a task as some people might assume. The audience, on the whole were very polite but pretty stiff - saw some swaying but no dancing which is a shame because each group performed extreemly danceable music.
Overall I give the evening five stars.

Great mix, all around. All kinds of music and events- there is something for everyone here. The regulars are like family! I truly love my job!

Re: “Manitou Springs Heritage Center

The Center houses an outstanding exhibit with photos and artifacts of Historic Manitou Springs. The walking tours on the history of Manitou Springs were informative and fun and the carbonated Mineral Springs were unique and tasty.
