A friend of mine had her baby shower at the Lennox House. It was very quaint and private. The snacks that were provided were delicious and the owner did a great job of keeping up with the guest’s appetites. The dining area and living area were small though. I would suggest limiting your party to 10 people.
I didn't put them down, indeed many people I love dearly are guests and staff there. I simply think that goth night can be more. The Zodiac is showing very strong potential to give just that. I'm writing a review of the club and it's perfectly appropriate to cite the competition.
This was meant to be more about the Zodiac than the Underground, but that being said, it's been a long time since The UG has really been drenched in the goth spirit. It's nice that it's there and has been for so long, but that doesn't mean it cannot nor should not be done better. Just because it's the oldest, doesn't mean it's the best or even a real measure of what a goth club should be.
Loved the food - truffle coated french fries, tempura fried bacon, tasty shrimps all with nice dipping sauces. The music was outstanding and the place was comfortable with an elegant, upscale vibe. Only complaint was the noise level in the room - lots of hard reflective surfaces and chatty youngsters.
this is place is really cool it is small but the sound is amazing and the environment is all about the music a definate must visit...the venue focuses on only having 2 acts each night but the quality of enetertainment is top notch...no alcohol is served kleeping a true under age place at the front of its priorities...
So you park your car, then you walk across the field and then you can walk up to the top of the razorback ridge. Once there you get a great view of the mountains to the west but watch out, it feels like a cliff.
Can be charming, depending on who's there and who is playing in the band. Incredible players like Wayne Wilkenson on guitar are there on occasion, but then some wannabees always seem to show up. The most forgetable-the highly over-rated Bruce Pennington on piano.....ugh..... Seriously, if I hear another cliche' "Liberace"-like scale run from the keys i'll jump out a window. As long as there is a variety rotation in play, this place is worth checking out... but beware the afor mentioned lounge lizard act.
Had breakfast in the dining room recently. This is allegedly a 4 diamond place, but the floor was dirty (food crumbs), the cream was old and curdled in the coffee, the service was slow and inattentive, but the food was good. It will be interesting to see if they hold on to all of their diamonds.
Excellent location for games of all kinds with views abound. Too bad the staff (the director) ruined my first time experience to this facility. Extremely disappointed when I found out this was own by my alma mater.
It is a sex club disguised as an art venue. If you want sleazy old men hitting on you this is the place for you.
Machiavellian miscreants !!!
Bunch of cheats the department of wildlife. Rules apparently don't apply to them!
This Y is in a nice area of town. Don't let this fool you, the place is overrun with gangster kids and skaters from the nearby skate park. I was never concerned about that until my locker was broken into, during a busy time on a Tuesday. No security, nothing done about it. Management was not surprised in the least, and stated so. I guess you are completely on your own here. If you have young children you think are being supervised, you might want to think again. This is an unsafe place pretending to be a safe place for families.
Not worth the money! I came here for a girls'-night-out and we were seated by the piano; all we could focus on was the "colorful" language we heard coming from the kitchen. The food and drinks were mediocre at best, and the servers were obviously overwhelmed. Also, after being open for almost a year, you would expect this place to have some sort of sign, but this is not the case. To top it off, as I was leaving, I passed by the side-door and had who I believe was the yeller with colorful language from the kitchen tell me to "have a good evening" as he sat in a sweaty, dirty t-shirt and shorts and smoked a cigarette. I would expect this sort of behavior and attire from a fast food restaurant, not an upscale jazz club. I absolutely advise against going here!
Service is horrible!!!
The staff is inattentive and dismissive. It's painfully obvious they they are easily overcome by events. The bartender is overly concerned with catering to female patrons rather than his actual job. The acoustics in the place are terrible and it's a shame because the bands are great. The music is almost drowned out by people chatting away. Most of this is attributed to the fact that the place is in the garage of the owners other business which the staff freely admits, like its a good thing. The food is way overrated and over priced as well as the drinks. The entire place has an air of extreme pretentiousness as the staff is overly concerned with local elites (some Army General's wife) that frequent the place while in turn neglecting other customers. I recommend with conditions namely eat before you go, don't expect prompt service and sit outside as the indoor acoustics are almost unbearable.
Initially, you will feel welcome and comfortable. But, buyer BEWARE!!! The owner will strong-arm you into signing undeciferable contracts, high-jack your recordings if you decide to record in his "In-House" recording studio known as "Cottage", and threaten you constantly with his larger than life stature and will never let you forget he is ex-military and he has an "Italian" last name. The Green Room, friends, is NOT a place for musicians. It is a place for the Owner to gain monetary benefits for himself. If any one has a question of his business practices, just look into his old "Green Room", where he is currently in litigation for the last real estate debacle. Use extreme caution!!!
I give them -5 stars this is the second time i have called to see once back in Jan2016 and Today ...sorry i can not help your family is to big
A lady named Marsha had a rude, curt, and condescending tone. She was not clear in her communication when I asked simple questions about what was offered as if she didn't want to be bothered. It's a shame that bullies are allowed to be in a service position especially for those of us 50+. What a horrible lady.
i called the venue they said blood on the dance floor is not playing all i know is for this tour is they are playing only in denver and tickets are only 15$
Is this city owned facility responsible for management at Caddy Shack restaurant?
If so, whom would I contact about being GM. If not would GM office at Patty Jewett
Golf Club give me a clue? Their reputation is detrimental to Patty jewett Golf Club!

I give the R.J. Montgomery Salvation Army a POOR RATING. The Salvation Army located a 709 South Sierra Madre has the dirties bathrooms and showers due to they do not use bleach on the tolients nor in the showers. They only give people who WANT to WORK 14 days to find a job, if they DO NOT find a job within those 14 days they are KICKED OUT for 3 months.
The STAFF MEMBERS there are the rudest people ever to work in a shelter. They yell and scream at the clients there and get away with it according to (Mr, Tom), because the R.J. Montgomery STAFF MEMBERS are NEVER WRONG and the CLIENT IS ALWAYS WRONG. And they expect the clients to be quite and not get upset back at the STAFF MEMBERS for being disrespectful. IF a Client yells or screams back at the STAFF MEMBERS the Client IS KICKED OUT for 6 months.
In ALL HONESTY, I dispise the R. J. Montgomery Salvation Army New Hope Center. I pray that these FAKE CHRISTIANS GET THIS MESSAGE.
