Bloody Mary's here are an awesome start. Food is incredible.
Get to Palmer Lake and try this place out, worth the drive! Best green chili I have had.
Everything I've ever had there is amazing!! One particular entree that blew me away is the salmon!! Every bite was heaven!! The prime rib will also make you a believer! :) I've moved out of state, but when I come back for visits, having another fantastic taste buds experience will HAVE to be at The Black Bear Restaurant!! On top of the superb cuisine, there's Victor Matthews who LOVES to hear about your dinning experiences face to face! If he possibly can, he will come out to your table to listen to your comments:) If you're a tourist, you'll take home exceptional memories of this restaurant!!!
Went for lunch today to try the new menu. It had a lot of interesting food that all sounded sooo good. I had The Bomb sandwich. That is a perfect name it was truly the bomb, it had egg salad and pastrami. My husband had the Peking chicken and asparagus fries which were amazing. My son had fish and chips and he liked those. OH yeah started with the Man Candy, you can't go wrong with spicy/sweet bacon.
How rare...I have been eating at the Blue Star since it opened and have always had a first rate experience on every level.
The Blue Star and Marigold's are the two best places to eat in the City...just considerably better than any similarly priced places.
Importantly, the volume is high enough that the foot is always fresh...I am actually pretty stunned by the bad review. Maybe the hubby is allergic to sea bass.
They have the best food and great deserts, you wont find any better in town!
The chef is a genius. We enjoyed our dinner very much.
ZANE'S STEAKHOUSE SUCKED- ZANE'S GAVE ME FOOD POISONING (I have the credit card receipt and the Emergency Room documents) AND IS NOW CLOSED. I GUESS THAT SAYS IT ALL. THE FAMOUS HAS EXCELLENT FOOD, ATMOSPHERE AND WAIT STAFF. I think "SmartestMonkey" needs to rethink his/her name because you are truly an effing moron. The meal was "expensive" at Zane's because of the ER co-pay, Einstein.
What an incredible setting, it's a subterranean escape from the everyday life of Colorado Springs. I walked around to see the entire layout of the Restaurant and it seemed like I was exploring hidden caves, even a library with a variety of books. There is really cool art displayed and I actually know one of the local Artists. The staff is welcoming and personable, they made me feel like a friend not just a guest. Micro brews on tap (my favorites) and just $2.50 at Happy Hour. The food is absolutely mouth watering, I've had the Juicy Lucy burger, Ribs, Carrot soup, and the German Chocolate Cake. It's nice to have a new place that is unique and not typical of the others.
excellent food - cool atmosphere...and it's open on Sundays!!
My wife and I have been since day one, We have been treated better than royalty. The staff are a gift from God!!!! The drinks and food are a passport to excellence!!!!! If you have not been here you must come and enjoy the SERVICE and FOOD !!!!
I just went to Motif for the first time this weekend and LOVED it!! There was a male singer who was amazing. Loved that I felt like I was in a big city, but only had to drive 20 minutes to get there. My friends and I shared a bunch of stuff off the menu. The sliders and fries were to die for and the chef's special was great as well. A little hard to find, but it was well worth the search, it was a real treat. The service was great, and the drinks as well. The mango martini was out of this world. Can't wait to go back!
Our first experience here was for Valentines Day a couple of years ago and we were seated in the ballroom, which was converted to a dining room for the occasion. It was okay, but less than perfect. We just went back again a couple of weeks ago and were royally treated in the 'proper' dining room. The wine list is very extensive and the food and service were superb. We're putting this place on our top 10 list of local restaurants.
The poster of this review has absolutely no proof whatsoever that his illness is related to his dining at my restaurant. We have served dozens of the same menu items as he had over the last few days, without any other concerns or complaints from any other guests. And during his phone call to me just minutes before this posting, he was saying he was too ill to get out of bed, yet now he can pull himself together enough to quickly fire off revenge posts? He just assumes that I should write him a check without any kind of medical procedures to link his illness to dining at my establishment! I am more than happy to address his concerns if they are valid, but to claim a supposed food illness without this being proven to be a food illness, or a food illness related to my facility is ignorant, irresponsible, intentionally harmful and reckless behavior.

Excellent food, wine and service.
I love Adam's Mountain Cafe! The Almond French Toast is AMAZING! Great service, great prices and freshly made healthier food = win.
I'm a big fan of Garden of the Gods Gourmet. Love their take-home soups, breads, and Curry Chicken Salad. I recently tried their "Dinner with the Chef" and had a wonderful evening enjoying food prepared in the kitchen by Chef Larissa. The food was wonderful and the price was very reasonable. You have to make reservations in advance, but I would highly recommend it to others.
Loved this place. The drinks were great and the music fantastic. Can't wait to go back.
One of our favorite places in town. Consistantly great food and service. We'll be back again and again.
Great meal, great ambiance and wonderful live music.
