The 8th Street location is the worst!!! The first time we ordered from there we ordered a Margarita Pizza and had it delivered. We were told it would be 45 minutes delivery time. We were called at 45 minutes and informed they were behind and it would be another 15 minutes. The pizza actually arrived one hour after that phone call. And we didn't receive a Margarita Pizza, it was a CHEESE PIZZA!!! Plus it was cold. I called the manager and was told I would receive a free 18" Margarita Pizza the next time I called in. We gave them another shot about 30 days later and it took them over a hour and 10 minutes to deliver when we were told it would be 45 minutes and the pizza was cold again!!! At least the pizza resembled a Margarita Pizza a little. We will NEVER eat there again and have told all of our friends about this. We will stick with Papa Murphy's from now on.
awesome...and to- scottwkeller 1999- what kind of woman are you...you dont walk into a pizzaria (a NY one at that)...and ask for "slices" and seperate checks...its PIZZA...and AWESOME at that
I agree with the last review. I've eaten there numerous times b/c the pizza tastes so good. Personally, I've never had a bad experience, but I've noticed the staff tends to become a little tense when service picks up. They've only been open a couple months, so I think once they get there work flow down things should fine. As for the food. The Hell Fire is one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. My kids love the mac & cheese pizza. Yes, mac & cheese. We all think the homemade cheesecake tastes great as well. The taste of the food is worth dropping in trying for yourself.
SMD and scottwkeller1999 comments certainly provide opposite end of the spectrum reviews of Ruffrano's Hell's Kitchen Pizza. Must say I agree with both. Have visited more than once, and some days the service and the food are great, other days just the food is great. Staffing is certainly an issue and the owner's attitude is hit or miss, depending on the day you visit. Chalking this up to new restaurant nerves, and hope they work out the kinks as this is great pizza!
Our visit last Wednesday was nothing like the previous review. Owner was friendly, and gladly explained the menu items to us. The wait for the pizza was a bit long, but the pizza was worth the wait. We had a couple slices of the special while we waited for our pizzas to be cooked. The slices were a bit cool - not bad tasting though. The pizzas we ordered were awesome! We will definitely be back - hopefully he has a liquor license by then.
So where to begin.....
Positives-decent NY crust. Waitress.....
Negatives-most everything else.
Here is how our visit went. Arrived 7 pm. almost full house, good sign. waited a few moments for the staff to put a few tables together for the 6 of us. 3 couples, 3 checks. two couples ordered full pizzas, one couple ordered slices. Slice couple served 20 minutes after order placed. no pizza for the rest of us for another 20 minutes. 40 minutes in pizza arrived. ordered half Hells Kitchen Hot special, the other half 4 cheese, minus ricotta, plus olives. not made correctly. ricotta present, no olives. let the waitress know and she promised us a small three cheese with olives, brought a large. 1st couple went to counter to pay, listed what she was paying for and the OWNER says, " who is paying for the rest of what your table ate?" my friend replied "the other couples who are standing behind me", the owner turned and walked away, she says to him, "the pizza was really good", he did not hear as he was already walking away. while we were there, the delivery guy was fired and the cook was sent to deliver pizzas...I saw him leave three times while we were there, when he returned from the delivery to the kitchen, he did not wash his hands.
bottom line-wont be back....rude owner, not appreciative of his customers(IMHO), pizza ok, gotta try Joey's now.
It's to bad, pizza started out great, but has gone steadly down hill since... the general attitude has never been good (thought they were going for that NY attitude)

If you want a manager to say FUCK YOU and that you are a BITCH go to Borriello Brothers New York Pizza. These are the most uncouth people I have ever met. Better off at Papa Murphy's or Domino's the management won't even give you a call back after 8 phone calls to them. My $60-$100 a month well spent somewhere else. They don't care about their business because they have so many locations bringing in the $. Hope they fail sooner than later.
Made a reservation for 7:00pm got there at 6:55 and was told it will take 15 minutes. Waited 50 minutes with no updates and was not offered any drinks while waiting. We only saw the host three times for just a few seconds during our 50 minute wait to inform other people of a 15 minute wait. We left after 50 minutes. Terrible handling of reservations and waiting customers.

AMAZING pizza, great service, sometimes it takes a little longer to be ready but if "good things" are worth waiting for well then I'd wait forever for this stuff!
Amazing food, great atmosphere!
I love Pizzeria Rustica. The wait staff is friendly, courteous and responsive. The pizzas are fresh and delicious. The wine and beer selection is decent. The restaurant makes efforts to buy local produce and local products with a focus on sustainable business practices. I'd recommend it as a great dining experience, with one caveat-- getting a table on Friday or Saturday night can be a nightmare... but luckily they do reservations. Go on a whim any weeknight, but weekends-- call ahead or you might be S.O.L.
Pizzeria Rustica: Wow - they need to sell the business to someone who knows how to run a restaurant. We tried this place 3 times. One time we sat by the trash that smelled, tonight they ran out of dough. All 3 times they were rude. Of all the great places to eat in Colorado Springs, this is not one of them.
i love your pizza, but i received a call the other day saying i was getting a free app nxt time i called to order. I called. when i mentioned the app, I was told i had to be transferred to the store. I then went on unending hold. I called back to the stores direct number on 8th street. I was put on hold again and then after i ordered, I was told the time would be an hour (no big deal) and asked if i was sure this was something i wanted to do. No its not. Dominos is on their way.
classic, well prepared, fresh ingredients, salad dressing has a great clean bite. Carla, Amber & rest of the staff always readywith a bright smile! Don't be intimidated by the wait on Fridays and Saturdays - well worth it!
This is a review of the Monument location.
The pizza itself is very good - our favorite pizza and the new Monument location has a nice environment. Here's my problem specifically w/ the Monument location. After ordering your pizza at the counter, when it's busy (dinner time on the weekends for example) you have to wait around for a table to open up. Unfortunately, there's not a good way to keep track of who's been waiting the longest and should get the next table. This results in the potential for conflict when a table opens - who was there first? Who should get the table? I don't like that.
Over priced and really over priced. I have ordered their main selections, but in a gluten free crust. It really is a personal sized pizza AND they charge per item. So when you order that personal sized gluten-free crust, you are paying dearly. Be forwarned. You can make it much cheaper at home. The Caprese "salad" should be served as a salad to make it more hearty. Currently it is served traditionally a few slices of tomato, buffalo mozzarella and basil, drizzled with balsamic. Serve it over some lettuce and it will be more worth the price!
