If you are in, then you are in...otherwise you are out, out of luck to get served
I absolutely LOVE this place. The owners are very open, loving and caring. We hold our meditations upstairs and we rent the place to have a Metaphysical Meet and Greet. I bring my 3 year old autistic nephew and they are very accommodating for him. A wonderful atmosphere, a peaceful outside table, and great food and drinks.
The coffee itself is fine, but the owner, almost religiously expouses her alternative sexual lifestyle. I'm most bothered by the gay reading material strewn on the tables. Then she has "groups" come over and meet there. It's awkward to say in the least.
More than just rude, some of the barristas are downright hostile. They had this one girl who looked like she fell on her father's tackle box. She was always snippy. I stopped going there a long time ago. I prefer to go to Canyon Cafe on 8th and Cheyenne Blvd.
My family and I have really been treated rudely here. We have a disabled daughter who was mocked and made fun of by the barista. My daugther was really upset and started crying. I told the owner and she did nothing. I live next door to this place and I'm disappointed in their behavior. We won't go back again.
It would be awesome if they could hire an actual busperson who would actually clean the tables with disinfectant - I try not to think about when I eat there. Yuk.
WOW...stumbled on this place while at the Ladies US Open...smiles all around, great coffee, and a breakfast sandwich to die for. Just a couple blocks from the broadmoor. Check it out!
I've passed the location for years but stopped in last Saturday and we got some tea, a smoothie, and a hummus sandwich. Such a neat, funky little place inside with a cool simulated wood stove, nice couch, and several larger tables for parties of four. Next visit I'll have to get some coffee. Since this is right up the hill from me, I plan to stop by more often now. If you are going to Cheyenne Canyon, stop by. It's right down the street.
This is a great little mother/daughter coffee shop. Besides great coffee drinks, they have a wonderful little menu of homebaked goods, soups and sandwiches. This place is especially appreciated after a canyon hike or bike ride.
Great atmosphere and friendly service, but really overpriced, bland food.
I had a very disappointing meal at Canyon Coffee and Cafe today. An omelette that was poorly prepared with veggies. The green pepper slices were as big as my thumb. The eggs were undercooked. The English muffin was tasteless. The butter was a bit rancid. I'll not be eating there again. Apparently the owner is trying to sell the restaurant. I wonder if he's already left....
Fabulous food and drinks - great service. Live music would be nice.
Best bubble tea in town! Friendly service and it's great place to bring your laptop to get some homework done or sit around and talk with friends.
I worked next door to Nemo's and was in there all the time. They have great drinks, and are willing to make things that aren't on the menu. All of the food there is delicious! Breakfast burritos, muffins and scones (made fresh every morning), croissant sandwiches, and salads. A little pricey but definitely worth it. The owner, Tracy, always remembers me and asks how I am doing. She is wonderful! Some of her staff is a bit forgetful and don't seem like they want to be there, but if you catch Tracy everything will be amazing.
Absolutely the best place for spicy Organic Fair Trade Chai downtown. They are one of a handful of places in Colorado Springs serving Boulder's freshly made Bhakti Chai and they do it right. When Tony say it's guaranteed to put fire in your belly, believe him. Their Chai keeps me going all through the afternoon.
best coffee in Colorado Springs! and the friendliest staff!!!
Great coffee, and Great art.... A winning combonation made even better by sweet people behind the counter!!!
The folks at Canyon Coffee make you feel right at home from them moment you walk in the door. The espresso is excellent and the cinnamon rolls are to die for. Amanda made me feel like I was a regular customer. I wish I could make Canyon Coffee my regular joint, but I will stop in every time I’m in CO Springs.

When Poor Richard's is open you can get good food. Unfortunately then seem to have the same non-cleaning policy as Poor Richard's - tables are always dirty - hire some buspeople with disinfectant spray! The tables are pretty close together - go here if you REALLY like people.
Re: “Café Corto Coffee Gallery”
What a much needed space for our city! Great home away from home cooked food with a friendly family feel...You will leave feeling fully fed from soles to soul! Cafe Con Leche is bold and sweet, perfectly balanced extremes of flavor, and the Arepas Con Pollo is so good you could eat them for dessert cold, breakfast hot, on the go, take it home...Just take it in slow, savoring each bite and each bit of love that it is seasoned with...
