Re: “Noodles & Company

Love the mix and match option that is their menu. Lot's of food for a great price. Thumbs up for the good ol' American mac 'n' cheese and their Asian noodle dishes (in all their varieties).

Re: “Mediterranean Cafe

The spanakopita is the worst I have ever had, same with the baklava. The service is not great. The only thing that is good there are the gyros.

Re: “Heart of Jerusalem Café - Austin Bluffs

So this is not my first trip to Heart of J or my first time to this particular Heart of J. In the past I've ranted and raved about the food and the service but no more. The hummus and baba ghanoush didn't taste as good as what you can get from the grocery store. I'm a creature of habit, once I find something I like at a place it's hard to get me to change. I always get the lamb shawarma and it's always great but not this time. I'm not even sure what was on it was lamb the cucumber sauce seemed to have been replaced with mayo, the flat bread for dipping was hard as a rock. Lastly I always make it a point to get Turkish Coffee and even this was a major disappointment, watery, little taste and all grounds. Over the past 6 months or so I've been here at least 8 or 9 times and I live in Parker, never again. Very disappointed!

Re: “My Big Fat Greek Restaurant

It is like these people went out to a movie once upon a time and never got over it...and a bad movie it was, almost as bad as this stupid microwave fantasy land hole.

Re: “My Big Fat Greek Restaurant

Yes this place rocks!! My husband and I frequent here. Not usually loud at all, but sometimes the staff dances around all together and it is just fun. Awesome habanero hummus, gyros, and Greek salad! Very reasonably priced as well.

Re: “Grand Gyros

Sounds good after reading the Indy link and your review. Are you sure you are not a family member? Just kidding.

Re: “Briar Mart

The selection of items is broad. Store is very clean and organized, and the owner(s) very friendly and customer oriented. I always have to have Baklava once I get to the register, the smell is heavenly.

Re: “Noodles & Company

Haha! My name is Jaclyn Grossfield and I work in public relations at Noodles & Company. We think the same thing about our Web site, and we're actually in the process of rebuilding noodles.com now. Thank you for naming us 'Best Noodle Bowl' for the fourth year in a row. Again, I totally agree with you that, "nothing tastes better than hot, saucy noodles on a crappy day."

Re: “Pita Bella - Star Ranch Road

I was so happy when I heard that a Gyro place was opening up on our side of town; however, my happiness soon faded when I ordered my first taste of Pita Bella. There is nothing beautiful about the food as the name would have you believe. First off the food is not fresh but rather it is set up like a very sad version of a sub shop. The menu is extremely misleading as you cannot order any of the "gyro" sanwiches as platters. The platter that you do receive when you order consists of a few strips of meat with a pita and no vegetables. The sides are old and without seasonings that are discernible to even the best palate. Our sides consisted of dried out Tabouleh with cilantro and one shriveled tomato dice, hard rice with hard lentils, and a greek salad that looked like it had been sitting there all day! My suggestion, look elsewhere!
