HAVING NOT BEEN IN BEFORE WE WERE A LITTLE UNSURE GOING SOMEWHERE WE HAD NEVER BEEN. UPON ARRIVAL WE WERE WELCOMED AND THE STAFF AND CREW WERE MORE THAN ACCOMDATING. WE WENT ON TO HAVE A GREAT TIME. SUCH A FUN ATMOSPHERE. I WOULD SUGGEST ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY GO CHECK IT OUT.

We've also been going to La Creperie for years - always the first choice for lunch with a cherished friend. The last time we came in, everything seemed different; the warm ambience had cooled, the food had diminished in quality, the recipes had changed. My favorite asparagus/hollandaise crepe is now prepared with CHEDDAR instead of a milder white cheese. Anyone with even the most rudimentary culinary knowledge understands that a sharp cheese like cheddar is entirely incompatible with hollandaise sauce. They made the substitution when I asked for it, but even so, the indelicate, lumpen crepe I received bore no resemblance to the beautiful creations I've come to expect there.
This restaurant, which has been on my A-list for years, has dropped to C-level at best. With the advent of Paris Crepe just a few doors down, one would think this beloved Springs standby would be working to improve, not letting everything slip.

We have been regular patrons of Meadow Muffins for almost 3 years now and it stands out as the most enjoyable, high class, fun, entertaining and SAFE bar in old colorado city. The menu has changed and its a great place to eat, meet friends, enjoy reasonably priced drinks. I like that there are several bouncers around to keep the trouble makers out, unlike the competiting bar across the street that allows the usual fights inside and outside their business with no concern for the innocent regular customers. Meadow Muffins will always be our favorite place and our old friends and new one's to come in the years to come. The owner's are very welcoming and encourage any concerns you may have, which there are none. Lets help spread the word and everyone meet for the nightly entertainment...

Discovered this place 60 days ago, have eaten here 19 times since then! The best authentic dishes, along with some familiar favorites, quality is outsatnding! People are the happiest ,most warm I have ever met, very genuine. A must go to place, say hi to Leah, she always has a smile. I rate this a 10!

I go to Flatirons each Monday to play poker. I find the food here especially delicious and very well prepared. The Flatiron steak is tender and cooked to perfection. The potatoes are a rare delight and the mac and cheese is to die for! I appreciate Megan and the other fine servers that are considerate and remember the menu items you enjoy. A lovely evening for anyone looking for good food and fellowship.

Unfortunately I must agree with Mr. Collins. We ate at this restaurant last week and had a very negative experience. The waiter did not seem to know how to serve plates or clear a table; he did not know the menu at all; he seemed quite confused about what we had ordered and served us the wrong things twice during our meal. The owner/manager stopped by and we explained what had happened. She became very upset, raised her voice, walked off in the middle of the conversation and sent us our check. Most of what occured I ascribe to poor management. The staff should be trained and informed on the menu before they serve customers. This is the responsibility of the owner/manager. She was beyond rude and dismissive, which seems to be a personality problem. We will not return.

New staff and new management have made some great improvements! I tried this restuarant again recently... and it was okay in the past.... but it is great now! The daily and weekly specials are great and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Thanks, Oakleys!

It's beautiful on the inside the staff was very friendly and one of the owners even brought my food out to me. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and it was outstanding. I always thought that it was best to start with the sauce and the meatballs to help me determine how good the Italian food is as this is a standard practice from my east coast background. I was very impressed and will be returning frequently as I look forward to eating more of the menu. BTW my friend had the lasagna and he insisted I taste it and we concur that this was easily the best lasagna in town.

food was less then average. I could have had a better tasting, tenderer tender steak sandwich. that was this year 1/30/2012. The week before that my friend and I both got raw rice with our meal with no comp or cooked rice. I think subway would have been a better meal. But their servers were awesome.

Thank you for opening your restaurant. I brought my sister in to Ficco's for lunch. She catered for many years and makes a mean lasagna herself. I make a great lasagna myself and I am super picky. I was so blown over by their lasagna recipe. It was mouth-watering delicious. My sister was so impressed that she ordered a to-go lasagna for her husband. They live in Denver and are food snobs. The interior was surprisingly beautiful and impressive and the service was phenomenal. I could not believe the portions and the prices. The food tasted so fresh. I could not resist their cannoli and had a couple more pieces to go. Again, thanks!

This place is awesome – the interior is beautiful, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the most important thing … the food is phenomenal AND you get a huge portion for the price. The bread baked in house melts in your mouth. The caprese offers huge beefsteak tomatoes and large pieces of fresh, soft mozzarella. The dishes are the bomb and it is because the passed down recipe for the sauce is outstanding!

I have eatin at this place and with the horrible service and food not up to even bar standards, they need help. They had a chef and new manager in the summer that had great ideas and service track to improve it, but the owner let them go and fast. Hired some guy that was let go too. How about we let the owner go and save this place!!! HIRE BACK THE HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM FROM SUMMER. How bad great place to be.

It was an interesting experience for sure... The place is charming, but the four of us that went thought the food wasn't that amazing. Probably wouldn't come back.. We got their burger, the butternut squash ravioli, the trout, and the meatloaf... Interesting

The coffee itself is fine, but the owner, almost religiously expouses her alternative sexual lifestyle. I'm most bothered by the gay reading material strewn on the tables. Then she has "groups" come over and meet there. It's awkward to say in the least.

The only reason this is a one star is because I can't give a zero. I don't know any thing about the food, because Maya would not serve me. I walked in, properly attired and clean, after a day of Christmas shopping. I did not know how to order, so I walked up to the register. Maya gestured to a table, so I sat down and waited. I read Maya's life story on the inside of the menu and all about food=love=family. I waited and waited. There were only two other parties in the restaurant. Maya made repeated trips to both tables, but never said a word to me. Never greeted me, didn't seat me, didn't serve me. I walked out. No love for me and I don't know what I did to deserve being treated so badly.
