Really great park to take the family. Great plase to run, barbeque and picnic. Also near many stores if you should want a drink or get hungry.
So you park your car, then you walk across the field and then you can walk up to the top of the razorback ridge. Once there you get a great view of the mountains to the west but watch out, it feels like a cliff.
We attended this event last year and it was incredible! The buffet lunch they serve is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the natural history of the area. The activities, hikes, and games are really fun for the kids. Some of the hikes are up to a mile long, so bring your water bottles and good hiking shoes.
I saw the sofa killers there last summer and it's a nice little park... they even threw a free BBQ...
Awesome, Free, Nature at Her Best!!!
the petrified redwoods are quite something to experience! And great hiking trials, right in my back yard!
