Re: “The Liberal Store

I really like this story, and have followed in through several locations. They are now on North Academy north of Union Blvd ( 5744 n Academy) between a church and a liquor store. Best to shop online first, then visit the store. Otherwise there is just TOOO much to see it all..

Re: “The Hemp Center

My first trip to this dispensary SEEMED like a nice experience. My boyfriend and I are both patients and went in together. I purchased the product on sale and after I went to work my boyfriend returned to buy additional product. He was told that we received the deal that they offered to every patient (member or not) as a COUPLE and he could not be sold anything else at a sale price.
This is ILLEGAL. They will not let people in without a red card, but if you go together they only offer one deal per couple. When I went back to try to rectify the problem the "herbalist" in the front SCREAMED at me to get out after she had already checked me in. They lied and made up several excuses before they decided to sell my boyfriend the half-ounce instead of us needing to call the police for being denied treatment after already being checked into the facility and threatened. Ironically, they act like they are compassionate and sell Buddhist t-shirts, but they are truly bad people with machine-trimmed bud that is airy and stemmy. They may seem like they have decent prices but they quickly change them and will not be provided to two patients individually if they are a couple.

Re: “Café Corto Coffee Gallery

What a much needed space for our city! Great home away from home cooked food with a friendly family feel...You will leave feeling fully fed from soles to soul! Cafe Con Leche is bold and sweet, perfectly balanced extremes of flavor, and the Arepas Con Pollo is so good you could eat them for dessert cold, breakfast hot, on the go, take it home...Just take it in slow, savoring each bite and each bit of love that it is seasoned with...

Re: “Edelweiss

The food might have been alright if it wasn't for the bug crawling through it. Tried to complain and the female manager/owner yelled and me and was incredibly rude. I wont ever set foot in that place again.

Re: “Texas Roadhouse

I can't believe it. My wife and I went to breakfest at I-Hop on North Academy Saturday morning and was served by a young kid named Bobby. He had such great customer service we couldn't believe it! We talked about it all day while shopping at Chapel Hills Mall. On our way home we stopped at Texas Roadhouse in Monument and deceided to have lunch. Who do we see waiting on us again, it was Bobby who served us for breakfest! This young kid must really work hard! He told us that he is working two jobs so he can pay for college. If you stop at either I-Hop or Texas Roadhouse besure to ask for Bobby's section. As my wife puts it " He's such a sweet kid". Awesome Job Bobby!

Re: “IHOP

If you ever visit the I-Hop on North Academy, besure you ask to sit in Bobby's section. He has such a great outlook. If you can't make up your mind he'll do a good job recommending what to eat. He is very prompt and curtious, what else can you ask from a server. Awesome customer service! When I go back I will sit in his section!

Re: “The Curry Leaf Restaurant

The Curry Leaf's chicken curry is really, really good, but so is everything else on the menu. Even the green beans offer a sophisticated blend of flavors, and the dahl is great. Lana has taken wonderful care of us over the years. I love this place.
