Went to the new location on North Tejon for a Saturday evening dinner. The food was tasty and the servers were well-informed and attentive.
Lots of real flavors, interesting combinations, and suitable portion sizes for the price ($9-$23). Our group liberally shared a representative set of dishes, thus I was able to find several things that I would partake of on my next visit. I chose the pan seared duck, which was perfectly cooked and well paired with the sweet potato/parsnip puree. The desserts were also rich and delicious.
My only complaints concern breaking in the new location. The dim interior made the miniscule text on the 1-page menu VERY difficult to read, and you'll have to raise your voice to have a conversation in the somewhat noisy dining area. Nevertheless, this is a place worth re-visiting.
Cool little hangout! Great coffee and staff. Very friendly. Cool Friday running "club". Reduced priced coffee after a run...not too shabby!
Very BAD service. Pre paid for the food deal (one slice, knots and drink). Waited about 30 minutes, then checked up with what was taking so long and they said just a few more minutes. 20 minutes later they said my order didn't exist. Asked for refund and they gave me a hard time. I left and counted my change the lady short changed me, so I went back in and she said that I had to pay for the drink cup! I asked to speak with the manager and he was very rude yelling at me in front of the customers! NEVER coming here again.
Side Note: Other people orders were also "Non existent". Very Disappointing.
Been here once before and had luke warm re heated pizza, not good.
What a crappy, power hungry school! The instructor prefers that his students bow down and worship him. No respect to the students. If you prefer visits to the E.R because the instructor doesn't understand the limitations of his students than by all means go ahead and train with them. What a joke of a school!
Fresh, clean, efficient, and cheerful. Reasonably cold beer, healthy salads, and pizzas that deliver taste by delicacy rather than heaps of stuff that will give you a stomach attack.
The pizza is cold. Sits out for hours, the salad bar is not kept cold enough BEWARE the pasta salad and potato salad is used over and over, the place is dirty!!!
GREAT place for Single girlz!!
A very nice place.....
Oh and their is a "RUB & TUG" place right next door.
Excellent meds with a wide variety at an unbeatable value. If you're in Colorado Springs and fancy yourself an expert, these guys have the meds without the inflated prices.
Went to the location in University Village. Very good lasagna, however the wood oven pizza was only average, as the toppings just did not have enough flavor and the crust wasn't quite right. $28 for a two person lunch is also on the high side.
This place is a joke.. The cooks do not know whar there doing.. the chef is a discusting.. i order two different times there.. first i ordered a club sandwich.. witch was very discusting the Turkey that was in the sandwich had a weird distinct color and a smell. And the veggies are discusting had to trow it away.. and second is there California Burger. The chicken was raw.. i will never again eat there or even suggest that place to any one..
And my rating
This is the best place in the springs to relax and network. You never know what kinda goodies you might win, or who you might see. I have been in love with this place since my first visit.
Home of The Weed Pimp Nation, SILVER SURFER Vaporizers, & Dj Chris Diablo - This is one of the most awesome places on earth!! Check it Out!!!
Moved to 3020 w. Colorado Ave #A. Check us out!
Cool, hip coffee shop that's a wonderful alternative to you know who.
Coffee is great. My pecan pie was right out of the oven, warm, sweet and gooey.
Order at counter, take your selection to a table. Outside seating too. Not pricey.
Yard sale coffee cups and flatware, funky old metal lawn chairs from the 1940s, in a renovated gas station ... recycling and re-purposing at its best.
Girl at the counter was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Free Wi-Fi and parking.
In the Old North End Neighborhood (ONEN), in the BON Shopping Center, at corner of Jackson and Wahsatch, a few blocks from Penrose Hospital just off N. Nevada Ave.
Closes at 3PM most days. I'll be going back.
I just moved here from the Midwest and I have to say maybe it does not rate with the high end pizza places like Giordanos or Lou Malnatis but for the value, the stuffed pizza is very, very good. I could not stop eating this so I ate even when I was full! Another sign of this pizza being excellent? when I had it for leftovers the next few days and warmed in my oven (do not use microwave!!) it even tasted better! I am so glad I found this place! Now I need to test the Roast beefs (i love the hot giardenaires they offer).
Art the pizza snob from Chgoland.
Working class and military trash? Well that covers about everyone. That customer must be independently wealthy or unemployed. I've been a customer since 1999, and be never had any problem with the staff or customers.
This place WAS awesome... but it is now closed. :(
