The selection is wonderful, the yarn is everything from fine to bulky, acrylic to mohair, the store smells like a mildew basement but I can even call that character...
But the help, has much to be desired. I've been here a few times and every time it has been rude, seemed more worried about their precious stash than running a business, and after my last experience I decided I would happily pay a little more for the same thing for a smile and a respectful employee who was willing to help me.
I picked out several skeins of alpaca yarn, went to pay and their machine was not reading my card (I had used it not 5 minutes earlier to get gas and lunch) and I suggested typing in the number. She glared at me and said no that charges me when your card comes back declined and I'm guessing it will having this many problems reading it and then I'm out 2$. She then proceeded to tell me where an ATM is and how I need to go get cash and bring it back to purchase because she doesn't have time to play games with my card. (I've had this happen twice out of the 4 times I decided to grin and bear the help. First time I obliged and went and got cash not having time to go somewhere else)
This last time I said thanks but I will take my business elsewhere or order my yarn needs off line.
Sometimes it's worth it to put your customers first knowing you will reap the rewards of a returning happy customer. Good customer service reaping positive Word of mouth is key to growing mom and pop shops these days especially when there's "mega buy it all here stores" for everything on every other corner.
This was The WORST experience i have ever witnessed in a biker bar ! I saw a bouncer wearing a Kilt Pick up a 5ft tall woman and carry her and drop her for NO reason I was watching the whole thing ! I own 2 such bars in Texas and I have seen & delt with alot of lawsuits ! This one is a huge liability & i hope the woman goes to authorities & a Attorney ! She should also fear for her safety ! I was a witness to it and called the police to let them know i was a witness and live out of state but will come back if needed to STOP this man !
If there was a way to leave a zero star rating I would. They are extremely over priced, I have seen items in the store in horrible condition and not even cleaned being priced for what you can find it brand new at a store. They always switch locations and change the business name as soon as enough people realize they are being ripped off, the store has been the bargain bin and willies treasures previously. They dont offer refunds or anything but yet they dont check whether their items even work or not and quite frequently they dont work and you are stuck with what you bought not working. If you are considering being a vendor and selling things through their store I encourage you to reconsider. The owners wilma and sandra lynch feel that because they own the building they are entitled to take what they want from you. If you do become a vendor at this location I suggest keeping a constant inventory of your things to make sure everything that should be there is still there.

I was sitting on there couch waiting to be seen when a fellow customer sits next to me and states that there is a guy outside the building who is a violent sexual offender,the the guy that is sitting on the opposite couch stated how much he hates those types ......i agree with him at this point..........he talks about what he would to him....i still agree then..... he talks about how he used to be a enforcer for gang that would knock on someones door if he had to......im wondering why this guy that is so OUTSPOKEN yet he will not deal with this violent sexual offender who is right outside the building and he even know's the hotel the sexual offender is staying at...........this guy then starts saying how he cant do anything because it would be considering a hate crime (i think he said that because he knew i was starting to question his character/motive and i bet he talked about me after i left the room)........the counter girl did not like this and has started to spread rumours,Can someone please explain to her how REDFLAG"S work ,Please read the rest of the reviews and decide for yourself if you want to try marisol's
The weed there is not worth more the $2. A gram to me and top self not worth more than $3. There weed is so crappy it makes people get depressed on weed only with there weed.they should not charge more than $4. For top so called top shelf & $2. For anybody member or not for shake a gram cause they are the worse in quality. #2 worse quality is m.m.j. supply & #3 worse is j.p. wellness in quality

It feels like you are in there to do something secret and almost shameful.THe budtenders are not very enthusiastic and inventory is a roll of the dice for what is a bit of a drive for some folks.I had to use this facility until I could get my residency established and get my mmj card. Glad that is over-VERY EXPENSIVE as well.Glad to see a real rec shop and some healthy competition open up too.

I listened to him for awhile, but got sick of his incredibly whiny voice. Worse than that is his self-righteous demeanor. Yes, ala Beck, Hannity and Limbaugh. If that's who you like to listen to, he's your man. And for some reason, he feels the need to remind listeners of his past achievements and credentials.
Maggie's Farm is a farce of diabolical proportions, a place that apparently takes pride in ruining the fun of buying MJ legally. You can expect awful service, unbelievable prices, and some butthurt brought about by waiting on cheap chairs (like the lemming that you are).
Once let inside the actual gazing area, I was given a sob story by the 'budtender' about how he didn't know what dabbing would do this health over another two decades. OH NO! :'( Then I was treated to an overpriced candy bar that was barely acceptable as either snack or medicine.
I'm just going to assume the candy was made incredibly weak out of fear that it would find its way into the hands of kids over Halloween.
If you're a local or tourist looking for 420, do anything but go to Maggie's Farm; check Craigslist, or even resort to asking homeless people where the weed is, ANYTHING but this dump.

most of my clients compare the experience of Maggie's farm to a trip to the DMV.
they have the only RMJ in El Paso county; but to offer swag bud and treat people like cattle and then charge them like tourist is not my idea of a good business model.
I would expect way more from a local business owner. This place is repeatedly bouncing payroll checks and the owner Richard is indifferent, and belligerent when confronted about it.
Something very unexplainable is going on with this Company. First, we were able to select a vehicle we desire pretty quickly from the website. The website appears to be a generally developed site by Subaru to all of its deals.
At first, when we called the Sales Reps, well you know, they were Sales Reps. A price was tentatively agreed upon. However, once they realized it was going to be a cash deal, the company became very toned and hostile, and created some of the most unusual excuses NOT to sell a car. Yes, cash in hand, and they would not sell a vehicle for the following reasons:
1. It wanted an additional $1000.00, in advance of the full cost of the vehicle, which they, 'might' return. The company refused to describe what the terms of the $1000.00 was for.
2. It wanted me to fill-out a credit application for its own use.
3. It wanted us to go through a credit background check.
What the $(%*. So, I properly and timely escalated, what I thought was a misunderstanding: A car company did not want to sell a vehicle to a fully-paid out the door vehicle to a customer. I called Subaru of North America, and they basically told me, they did not care what happened to the vehicle once they handed it over to the various sales store. Wow ! ! !
I received a confirmed email and text from both internet sales director and car sales director, that their policy of discriminately asking for money and full credit checks, and background checks was the way they do business and if I do not like it, the deal was canceled. I countered and offered them to go through a credit check of mine, a security check and make a deposit to me, to secure until delivery of the vehicle. They declined, and said no more business.
I do not care what kind of business they have sold to other people on what or who they are. I have never ever heard of a car company turning down a cash deal, until this one. There is only one reason I can foresee why they did it. They do not make enough money on a cash deal and would rather use those vehicles and practices to leverage many more unwitting people. Buyer be ware. Nonetheless, this terrible decision and experience by both Subaru (which I really respected) and its sales businesses has all but ensured I will not ever consider Subaru again.
I wish there was a rating below one star, because that is what this establishment, Academy Riding Stables and WALTER (manager) deserves. Nathan on the other hand was wonderful! My niece has disabilities, but rides all the time. I was on the phone with this company for 20 minutes explaining my niece's needs and I was assured those needs would be met. Upon arrival I learned differently. My niece was so excited, she just couldn't wait! And so was I!! The manager was rude, I explained who I spoke with and the special accommodations I was promised ( a lead for my niece, nothing more). He didn't believe a word I said. He said he was told nothing about it and HE was the manager!!!! He would not put a person with my niece. I could not ride beside her. However he assured me he would be leading the ride and she would be right behind him, so he would keep an eye on her. Nathan helped my niece on her horse and was great! Walter yelled at him to get that horse moving before my niece, horse or Nathan were ready. Walter did not go on the ride, my niece was listing off the saddle, but I was told not to ride beside her so even I was not allowed to help her. She almost fell off the horse. I stopped the ride and we left. Walter kept telling me this is not a therapeutic stable, good because we didn't need a therapeutic stable. Walter and the person at the entrance were extremely rude and made sure the ride didn't happen because of her disabilities. We will be notifying the ADA and hope they come down hard on Walter and his assistant. He should be called Mr Discrimination!!! Please let this company know what you think of this incident!!
I too was treated poorly: I have ridden for over 30 years, and NEVER have I been asked to weigh in. I was 2 lbs over their weight limit. The front clerk loudly told Walter about it. (I was so happy everyone on the ride knew my weight) But good old Walter let me ride. That assistant did not agree, but I was still allowed to ride. I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. SHAME ON YOU WALTER!!! As it's said.......Karma is a @$%^h. I hope you consider taking Academy Riding Stables from your site.
This place is not the best, & the owner wow what a baby. The way he runs this business is just sad. I stated I had some negative experiences & he "bashed" me on his personal FB.

Disgusting kitchen! I really liked the pizza the first few times we ate there. The last time my family ate there will be the last and here's why.... We went in and got a table for six of us in the small dining area so it's hard to miss us. We ordered pizza and got our drinks and then we waited, and waited and waited. 45 minutes later after 8-10 customers had come in and got their take out orders we went to the counter and asked what was taking so long to find out they had lost our order even though we were the only customers sitting in the dining area. They re-did our order and promised to give us free dessert to make up for it. In the meantime my Granddaughter had to use the bathroom so they let my wife escort her through the kitchen. The kitchen was filthy and the back door was open letting in a lot of flies. The flies were everywhere. When she came back from the bathroom our pizza was there and we were already eating over an hour after we ordered or I would have left and demanded our money back after hearing about the kitchen filth. We never got our free dessert though we wouldn't have eaten it. No apology from management; they blamed everything on having been busy earlier and having several new employees.
I will never eat there again. The margaritas are weak, taste like virgin margaritas.
