Eat there atleast 1-2 times a week. The beef platter with pita bread and humas is absolutely wonderful. I go in there by myself with my daughter and I will sit there for atleast a full hour eating and enjoying their wonderful sage tea, both hot and cold!
Defiantly the best place in Colorado Springs/Manitou.

Would recommend the Sahara to anyone who enjoys Middle Eastern food. The owner works both in the kitchen and on the floor. Very pleasant atmosphere and clean.

I have tried Sahara's pasteries, tea, coffee, and most of what they got on their menue from lamb, beef, gyro, Falfil, to dolmas... I rate the food 5 out of 5. Yes, I found their customer service very pleasing and it is what brings me back to the restaurant, besides the taste of food. Should try their special middle eastern home-made pistachio ice-cream. It is beyond elite. I believe it is only made on special requests!

Just dined there yesterday - fantastic experience! We were really impressed with the quality of the Greek Food they prepared and the service was excellent. We have been there several times before and I cannot say enough good things about this place. The upstairs patio is also very lovely.

Have tried the Sahara several times now and have never been disappointed. The lamb is very tasty. Also really love the coffee there. Even though its a little farther drive, I think its well worth it. Cant wait to try the new falafel!

SO very yummy... three simple words pretty much sums it up for me. Ive eaten at all the middle eastern restaurant in the springs and manitou. Not only does sahara cafes food taste the best but their customer service exceeds any place in town.

We can't stop eating here! I've lived in the Middle East and in the NYC area, and Sahara's has some of the best Middle Eastern food anywhere. Amazing meats. Great falafel sandwiches. Our kids adore the lamb. Fattoush is fresh and delicious -- I'm so glad to finally find this salad here in Colo Springs. Not only is the food fresh the staff is GREAT. Both the food and the staff really set this apart from other area Middle Eastern restaurants. You'll feel taken care of whether you come in alone, with friends, or kids.

Heart of Jerusalem Cafe takes the reigns as the best Middle Eastern restaurant 3rd year in a row. There's a reason the other restaurants are barely making it... Heart of Jerusalem is the only one with real authentic Middle Eastern food from Jerusalem, just ask the loyal customers.

I Love the Taste of Jerusalem,I eat there at least 4 times a month.The food is fresh and delicious each time I order.The ambiance is very nice and serene ,and the customer service is superb! I would recommend the food to anyone who likes middle eastern or vegetarian plates. Or even if you just want to try something new ,healthy fresh and good !

This is dinner and a show all in one... truly a place to 'make a night of it.' The food tastes like flowers smell (if that makes sense!)... great meat and veg options and a place to all order something different and share. A really unique place to take out-of-town guests, celebrate an anniversary or a promotion or just go on a date. Dare to try something you've never heard of... you won't be disappointed.

Mmm. Just thinking about Med Café makes me crave their food. I love the spanikopita--order it with the salad and dolma. You get to pick your salad from the salad bar. Or check their hand-written list for each day's specials.

Love to visit the Sahara every single time I find myself in Manitou. The family is warm and welcoming and service is sweet and timely. The SAGE TEA is the best beverage I have ever imbibed and I highly recommend it on ice! YUM, want some now. The ice cream is also yummy and anything on the menu is FIRST CLASS!
