Re: “The Caddie Shack Restaurant at Valley Hi Golf Course

The Caddie Shack is run by incompetent management, Dean R. and his main bartender is covered in tattoos and facial piercings and the WORST attitude I have ever experienced in my life. There was only one girl working the whole time I was eating my meal. I was watching the bartender Maureen just stand around and when she walked past me she reeked of weed. The food came out after 45 minutes and was cold. A true disappointment from beginning to end and its in a terrible area and the golf course is a two star at best. Caddie Shack gets zero stars

Re: “Las Americas Restaurant y Tortilleria

I was born and raised in Mexico and this is the only authentic Mexican restaurant in town. Don't be intimated by the location or outside appearance, the place is immaculate and the food is Excellent! The new owner made substantial changes to the menu and the cooks are all different. Try the Barbacoa, and the chicharrones...they can serve the meat in a taco or gordita. This is the real deal everyone!

Re: “Which Wich

I was honestly surprised by how good their sandwiches were. It is a bit complicated-seeming at first, having to find a specific bag (out of about 10) to write down exactly which things you want on your sandwich. Nonetheless, surprised by the quality and the wait times are reasonable.

Re: “The Buzz

The Buzz is better than previous incarnations. The live music has been good plus the staff have been friendly to me, introducing themselves and smiling as well- something most places need to learn to do. Too many places seem like they are too busy too deal with customers! Stay open til 2 okay?. Why places close at 11 or 12 just because business is slow is beyond me, when doors are locked there will be no business at all!
I would give 5 stars but any red decor has to go! Restaurants that have red walls, carpet and such do so because it has been shown diners will eat and then leave. A bar should not want customers to have a beer and go! Hope to see a patio maybe...? Thanks!

Re: “Epic Remedy

Some of the best deals in town. This is a one stop shop with outstanding buds.
The place is always busy but members can use the express bar to order ahead.

Re: “The 64 Store

Definitely one of the best dispensaries in town. Huge selection of concentrates and edibles at great prices. The Sin Mint is now one of my favorite strains!

Re: “Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center

The Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is still going strong, but is in need of serious funding. The mission is to receive injured, orphaned, and ill wildlife in hopes of rehabilitation and return to life in the wild. The Ellicott rehabilitation team is licensed by State of Colorado and U.S. Fish and Game. They are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, with an ALL volunteer staff that receives NO funding from the state or federal governments :( It is baby Great Horned Owl season again! Over the last few weeks, many owl chicks were blown out of their nests during the March 2016 Blizzard and and major snow storms. Please visit the Ellicott site to donate today!

Re: “The Buzz

The Buzz is THE place to bee. James and Mia and their staff are always smiling, glad to see you, and doesn't act put out to wait on you. This is a,, big plus in my opinion, The place has a nice welcoming home bar, even if its your first time there. The musicians that come to jam here are top notch or will be in the near future and the Crowd is very supportive of the music. First jam I have every been to that the dance floor was full EVERY song during the night. If you like friendly bar staff, Great Music a

Re: “Anita Bandita Taco Shop

The tacos are awesome. It's a small shop with only 2 people working there - 2 very friendly, helpful people.

Re: “Bingo Burger

Amazing burgers! Freaking great locally or regionally sourced buns, beef, condiments, and beers. Burgers of the day are excellent, too. Fully recommend going here if you like memorable, ethically minded food -- not just another greasy burger.

Re: “Woody’s Bar & Grill

Great people, from the owner to the patrons. Always accepting and welcoming, no matter what. This is a place you can play pool, poker, talk shop, family or politics and be respected for your opinion, all while enjoying well priced drinks and food made fresh. Daily specials, too. :) Great place to be and a home away from home.

Re: “Bean Bandit - Circle

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Their Enchiladas Tejans is the BEST. It's got large, tender chunks of pork and an egg on top. Can't find it anywhere else. Consistently delicious.

Re: “Bingo Burger

After walking by several times, I decided
to give Bingo Burger a chance. I live downtown. I chose to "build my own" and asked for a cheeseburger with fried/grilled onions. I was told by Sarah that they had "glazed onions" which are pre made. I'm not familiar with "glazed onions" and I don't think it sounds very appetizing, since it is pre made. I decided to wait until they weren't busy, as a courtesy, and went in to talk to the manager the following day. He also told me that they would not grill my onions. I happen to believe that the customer is always right. I'm from the East Coast and there is no hesitation to accommodate a customer who wants grilled onions on their cheeseburger. If I'm not permitted to have a burger the way I ordered it, I'm not going back. It's a shame too, because it seemed like a nice place. I'll sooner go to Jack Quinn's for the fish and chips. Bingo, feel free to contact me and make this right. If you make it right, I will remove this post, if possible. 719-480-1250 Christian Romansky

Re: “Eddyline Brewing Company

Great beer, delicious fresh foods, great wood oven pizzas, locals' favorite. They even have wine tastings & occasional live music at the main restaurant in South Main. Their Pub & brewery location on Linderman has great outdoor concerts in the summer.

Re: “Bargain Book Warehouse

This is honestly the best book store I have ever been to! I've always like to go here with my mom and find great reads! No matter how many times I go here, I always feel at home. The employees are always super nice and helpful. Thank you for having such a great store!
