Re: “South Jersey Subs

A hidden secret in the Springs. The sandwiches are delicious and the milkshakes are super excellent too.

Re: “Schnitzel King Restaurant

the food there is amazing because the owners are from Germany and they know what to do the only other place that I have had schnitzel of equal or better quality is in Germany. That is definitely saying something because I have had it from other places and no one can compare

Re: “The Mason Jar - Colorado Avenue

Best place for Rocky Mountain trout - baked, fried, grilled, or blackened, your choice. Comfort food with choices for everyone, whether you're age two to ninety-two! Where else can you find blackberry cobbler or a Mason Jar Delight cappucino sundae for dessert? If you are very, very lucky, Susie will be your waitress.

Re: “European Café

One of my favorite breakfast places ever. Crepes are to die for and the eggs and crème cheese with scallions are amazing.

Re: “The Mason Jar - Colorado Avenue

Had the prime rib twice....once great and the next time it was only ok. I have to try the chicken fried steak next time.

Re: “Maggie Mae's Restaurant & Pub

Best home cooked food! It's always delicious. Haven't had anything there I didn't like. I sure don't know what those other reviewers were talking about! I especially recommend the taco salad!

Re: “Little London Cake Shoppe

My sisters wedding cake came from here and it was beautiful and delicious!! It was moist and perfect! She froze the top tear until our first anniversary and after thawing it out it was as amazing as the day of my wedding. She had the lemon poppy seed cake with an irresistible butter cream frosting.

Re: “Borriello Brothers - Jackson Creek

I HATE this pizza place. The pizza is great, BUT when you order for delivery the pizza is late and cold and when you sit in house they tell you its 20 minutes and then it takes an hour. Also, the seat backs move so when someone sits behind you they push you forward. I want to love this place but am disappointed each time.

Re: “The Famous

The best place for a steak in southern Colorado. Don't have a friend to go with? Have a drink at the bar, have a delicious steak, and as long as you're reasonably friendly and interesting you'll surely make a friend there. Favorites include the rib eye medium rare, the filet charred rare, and the old fashioned. The bar and restaurant staff are friendly and are real pros. I usually go to the Famous on Thursday nights. It is less busy than Friday and Saturday, plus the pianist, Ken Janzen is there all three of those nights. He is really a terrific performer. You can't go wrong for lunch or dinner.

Re: “Rasta Pasta

The food is great; the atmosphere is mellow/friendly. "Soon come' in Jamaica means you may never get your food or beer, but here the service is wonderful. Check out B+ (Be Positive Band) when they play here for reggae excellence.

Re: “Tomo Sushi

Excellent food and service; never had a bad meal here. Their "Bento Boxes" are a little pricey, but you always have enough to take home for a lunch the next day because they are so generous with their portions. Hot tea is always piping hot, and sushi always very fresh! sushi quality is 5 star!

Re: “Bingo Burger

Every Sunday, my friend and I hold a tradition of trying to find a new place in town to eat. It provides opportunity to experience new digs and meet new people in our area. Two Sundays ago, we were craving MEAT and starting walking down town towards Tejon. My eyes glossed over and my mouth started to water when I saw the sign for Bingo Burger, “Theeeeerrreee,” I managed to mumble through the drool. We walked in and stood in line behind other carnivores waiting their turn not knowing what they wanted. So they let us skip in front.
We ordered one vanilla malt and one chocolate shake, order of large fries, and two burgers. Nothing complicated like tofu banana peels with a box of air; just one chicken burger with a fried egg and one BLT burger. They finally got our order right after two failed attempts at giving us other people’s orders. We sat outside in order to avoid the children’s birthday party going on inside. It wasn’t actually a classified children’s birthday party but had all the makings for one; loud children jumping on things they aren’t supposed to while their parents dully sit back and discuss whatever it is inattentive parents discuss. We had a good view of a tree and the homeless who sit at the corner StarBucks. “Don’t mind us eating our 8 dollar meal right in front of you...Of course, I don’t have any change to spare, I spent it on beating the last level of Mortal Combat at Supernova.”
The food was good and worth the wait but not worth the atmosphere. The staff gave me a $2 off coupon for my next visit which I may end up donating to the “Got-Any-Spare-Change” homeless man I see on every corner down town. I’m pretty sure he has a few doppelgangers or a following…
