Re: “Egg & I

TejonTech,

Real easy rule to know if you should write "(BLANK) and I" or "(BLANK) and me": Think about how you would write or say it if it was just you -- if you would use "I", then use "(BLANK) and I" and if you would use "me", use "(BLANK) and me".

For example: I went to the mall = Joe and I went to the mall.

Another example: The water splashed on me = The water splashed on Joe and me.

When using "(BLANK) and I", the I always comes last. When using "(BLANK) and me" there is a little more flexibility regarding which comes first.

Re: “Pikes Peak Alternative Health & Wellness

Hey Colorado Springs wake up and visit the best, cleanest, and lowest prices ever in Colorado Spring dispensary. That's right I'm speaking of this little hidden away place Pikes Peak Alternative Wellness Center. I was driving down Tejon looking for a new dispensary that would at least have people who would smile and not get pushy like Broadmoore Wellness staff does, but that's another review. At Pikes Peak Alternative Health and Wellnes I was greeted by a lady with a smile and her name that was refreshing. After all the checking of i.d.s I was taken into the dispensary and it was explained to me that while the shelves may be low right now (harvest time) they would make sure my needs were met AND THEY WERE. I normally wouldn't eat eadibles however this place has the most delious browines I have ever eaten. The brownie want't dry nor did it have a overwhelming taste of hash in them. The price I paid was only $8.00 (low price for the size you get).I also purchased their homemade candies called Gems which I like for I can use them while I work. I have signed my red card to this lovely place and I am glad I did for now I am earning 5% off my next order and that is a great bonus since times and money are so tight. I did purchase a pre-roll and I can hardly wait until their harvest is in the pre-roll knocked me on my butt.
Glad I stopped here. Thanks one and all at Pikes Peak Health and Wellnes you have made my month. Sincerely: Hot Butter Rum 192.3

Re: “Egg & I

As the subject of a sentence, it would be "Egg and I" (as in, "the Egg and I went to dinner); if an object or following a preposition, it would be "Egg and me" (respectively, "You took the Egg and me to dinner" and "Give dinner to the Egg and me"). As the name of a restaurant, presumably the subject mode would be preferable (as in "The Egg and I gave our name to this restaurant" or "The name of this restaurant is The Egg and I"). Okay, well, you asked!

Re: “Egg & I

Just tried this restaurant for the first time. Great food, good prices, and exceptional customer service. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Re: “IHOP

We arrived just before 6 am on Friday; there appeared to be just a single employee, who not only opened the door ten minutes late, she proceeded to seat just the first group of diners before disappearing into the back. No eye contact, no "I'll be right with you," nothing but silent contempt. Since she made it clear, on behalf of her business, that iHop cares nothing for our business, we left and won't ever go back.

Re: “Jun Japanese Restaurant - Centennial

We tried Jun several times. The food was OK, not great, and the service was horrific. Go to Ai, just down the road. Better food, nice people.

Re: “Trinity Brewing Company

Beer is good but service usually really sucks. I avoid the overpriced food and the owner. I do like the diverse guest tap offerings but they too are overpriced. Have a couple cold Flos and go down the road to more friendly people.

Re: “Borriello Brothers - Centennial

This place is unclean, the food undercooked, the preparation uneven (meaning the ingredients are not appropriately spread around the crust...the sauce is simply ketchup from a squirt bottle, and the help has never held a job before and will probably turn over before the week is out.

Re: “Jun Japanese Restaurant - Centennial

You need to go there when you are not hungry just to watch how awful the wait staff is...carry out has its own set of waits involved.

Jun needs to take care of this because it is hurting his business...we often think about going there, and then decide we don't want to be frustrated and have our evening upset by incompetence and insolence.

Re: “Jun Japanese Restaurant - Centennial

What a horrible experience. We came for Sushi after a fun day at the pool with our friends. Our friends had an 8 month old child with them and it was like we were putting them out by having her with us. We were seated and completely ignored. We waited 20 minutes for water!! I finally had to get up and ask the hostess for someone to come to our table to take our drink order, after that it was another ten minutes before someone finally came. When we finally were able to place our order, it was like we were asking too many questions and annoying the waitress. It was another 25 minute wait for our food to arrive and the order was incomplete. We had also asked for some hot water so that we could make the baby a bottle and our waitress completely forgot about it! And it is not like we ordered the least expensive things on the menu, in fact two of us ordered the most expensive meals they offer. Our money spends the same regardless of whether we have a child with us or not. The little girl was an angle throughout the entire, nearly 2 hour, ordeal and did not cause any disruptions or annoyances to other customers. It was as bad a performance as I have ever seen at a restaurant and I would caution to stay away!!!

Re: “Pikes Peak Alternative Health & Wellness

Pikes Peak Alt. Health and Wellness, It is what the Ideal Dispensary is. Plain and Simply the bud is Connoisseur Level! The Staff IS Polite, Friendly and Knowledgeable. They have the PASSION for QUALITY over quantity not that its lacking lol. The Focus and Attention to Detail that is Absolutely necessary to Provide the Level of Smoke that you get from "PPAHW". All of the buds I have tried sampled has something that is wonderful and tasty. P98 has beautiful deep hues of purple in its dense and heavily frosted buds. The Champanel Kush is a rarity to find it's looks are not Deceiving and the smoke is so smooth. The Alien Rock Candy has been my Favorite so far it has Everything I look for in a
'Lime Green Bud" that is also nicely frosted. The flavor it gives on intake is soothing and clean and the exhale is the same with a great lemon or lime taste but on a sweeter side. I reed about what they wrote on weed maps about the description they gave for the buds and was skeptical for sure, when I arrived and it was quiet, clean well put together. I got a few strains took them home and examined them one by one and each was flushed and cured well and showed care taken to Produce High Quality Smoke and Very Heavy Effectiveness.

Better pirogi's than I've had in the eastern US polish neighborhoods and even better than in Krakow Poland.

Re: “The Yellow King

This place is terrible. I called Tuesday (8/20/2013) to ask if they were selling FTV:20 and ask if they were taking pre-orders. I was told by the gentleman on the phone that no they were selling them first come first serve and they were going to get 10 of them and they would be for sale for slightly above msrp. I explained I wanted one for my boyfriends birthday and he said that he usually opens a little early and if I got there early when he opened up I could get one if I was the first one there. I came in Thursday night (tonight) and was told that they had five FTV:20's and they were all "spoken for" I told the person behind the counter exactly what I was told Tuesday and he said that person I spoke with was not handling the FTV:20's and he had no idea what he was talking about despite the fact that gentleman I spoke with Tuesday said he also owned the store.

The man I spoke with then changed his story saying they did have ten but that wasnt really a lot (other places also got ten, twenty at the most since Wizards of the Coast made it a limited set) and that FTV:20 was like a "bar of gold" and said he wouldnt be selling them in the store. So were they spoken for? Or is he going to jack the price up and sell them on e-bay later? How would Wizards of the Coast feel if they knew this store was ripping people off instead of spreading their product for the MSRP of $40?

I was informed I could get one online for 250 and the man at the counter asked me questions about all the other places in town. I told him they did pre-orders and they sold them for 40 dollars like they were supposed to. All his customers heard me say that so I hope someone was a pre-order person who can tell if he's scamming people.

In short from the ten minutes I spent in his store it was dirty, the carpet was filthy, it smelled sickly sweet like garbage that had cheap deodorant sprayed over it. The person at the front counter was rude, lied to me, and the merchandise, that I have seen sold all over town, was marked up to twice the price. Do yourself a favor and go to places like Enchanted Realms, Gamer Haven, and Muse. Even Dalez, who has a history of being expensive is a better place than this.

Caveat emptor.

Re: “Trinity Brewing Company

Trinity has great beers! and the guest taps are bar none. However, the owner is not a very great guy, I have seen him stumbling drunk in the bar harassing other patrons and kicking people out that have done no wrong. He will try to pick fights with others who aren't in 100% compliance with his philosophy on beer. I have brought a lot of friends here and have never been so disappointed in an owner and a business. I really LOVED this brewery but the lack of professionalism and poor service from the bar staff has stopped me from coming here.

Re: “Pikes Peak Alternative Health & Wellness

For 3yrs. I have been with Pikes Peak Alternative Health and Wellness. There are 3 main reason I stay with this center:(I do visit other mmj centers monthly and rate them on my legal pad). 1). The ladies who greet you at the door are poliet, always have a smile and check my card and i.d. all the time (other centers need todo this).
2). When I enter the dispensary with one or both of these ladies I see how clean, organized and professional the dispensary is there is no lack of acknowledge from these ladies. They ask questions and are deeply caring when it comes to helping people and me with my pain! 3). Hats of to the growers here!! The buds are not only tastey and do the job that is expected the growers also take took time to talk with me (they are shy but they answer all questions). Take notes other dispensaries this little mom and pop shop is clean, friendly and the best in Colorado Springs (oops their prices are to be appericated). I thank all of you at Pikes Peak Alternatiive and I will continue my purchases from you. Good Job!!.

Re: “Borriello Brothers - Power Center

The cheese on this pizza tastes like plastic. Also, this restaurant (at any of their locations) has some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. They act like they are doing you a favor to condescend to take your order.
