I am upset for several reasons but mostly for price increase. The chubby guy and the blonde satanist there boss should keep those two at the north store cause they both act like most Coloradans most 9 timeanout of 10 that act like it costs money to say hi unless they are serving you & that girl has the nerve to play devil music there .They both are mostly lazy when it comes to making five dollar prepacks & joints. & act like they are have no motivation to make one at a time since they are too lazy to do all of there duties. The bud there to me is not worth more than five a gram compared to tree house. j.p. wellness pnce again does not really appreciate the low income buyers cause of those two bud tenders & they boss being greedy now.If this keeps up especially with no five dollar prepack on weekends i rather drive farther to get hooked up with better bud cause to me the bud there at j.p. wellness ia not worth more than five with tax.The oriental chick & brunette are the only good bud tenders there to me.
The worst bud I've had in Colorado. Bought two different strains that both tasted like bad Mexican brick weed. They pass off low quality bud at outrageous prices. Maybe they should spend less money advertising and paying for "awards" and put more effort in to quality. If you are looking for recreational cannabis, Maggies is simply disappointing.
I HATE this pizza place. The pizza is great, BUT when you order for delivery the pizza is late and cold and when you sit in house they tell you its 20 minutes and then it takes an hour. Also, the seat backs move so when someone sits behind you they push you forward. I want to love this place but am disappointed each time.
Every Sunday, my friend and I hold a tradition of trying to find a new place in town to eat. It provides opportunity to experience new digs and meet new people in our area. Two Sundays ago, we were craving MEAT and starting walking down town towards Tejon. My eyes glossed over and my mouth started to water when I saw the sign for Bingo Burger, “Theeeeerrreee,” I managed to mumble through the drool. We walked in and stood in line behind other carnivores waiting their turn not knowing what they wanted. So they let us skip in front.
We ordered one vanilla malt and one chocolate shake, order of large fries, and two burgers. Nothing complicated like tofu banana peels with a box of air; just one chicken burger with a fried egg and one BLT burger. They finally got our order right after two failed attempts at giving us other people’s orders. We sat outside in order to avoid the children’s birthday party going on inside. It wasn’t actually a classified children’s birthday party but had all the makings for one; loud children jumping on things they aren’t supposed to while their parents dully sit back and discuss whatever it is inattentive parents discuss. We had a good view of a tree and the homeless who sit at the corner StarBucks. “Don’t mind us eating our 8 dollar meal right in front of you...Of course, I don’t have any change to spare, I spent it on beating the last level of Mortal Combat at Supernova.”
The food was good and worth the wait but not worth the atmosphere. The staff gave me a $2 off coupon for my next visit which I may end up donating to the “Got-Any-Spare-Change” homeless man I see on every corner down town. I’m pretty sure he has a few doppelgangers or a following…
Expensive, small and lacking good service. After reading so many articles about the new Bingo Burger in Colorado Springs, we were very excited to give this place a try. Two burgers, two sodas and one combo small/ cold fry totaled over $30. The meat was good and juicy but that is all the positive I can say. The table next to us even had to return their order. For local burger, the Green Line Grill makes a better basic burger and for overall best burger in the Springs, we will have to stick to BJ's Brewhouse double deluxe. Sad it just didn't work out. With so many employees, I don't know how you can have dirty floors and tables and forget items in an order, not to mention sending out cold fries. Hope this place improves over time.
I've been a Maggie's member for 3 years now. I also have many health conditions which I smoke to help relieve my symptoms. I would be lost without their products. I occasionally visit other shops due to being lazy or curious and i always end up regretting it and loosing out on the money because the product doesn't help. Love the staff, they know their members and always make you feel right at home. Couldn't ask for anything more then what they offer. Plus i love the fact the owner is in the shop every now and again and really connects with his patients. Shows he cares not just about the money
I often find the atmosphere to be unwelcoming and the prices to be slightly higher.
The pizza is cold. Sits out for hours, the salad bar is not kept cold enough BEWARE the pasta salad and potato salad is used over and over, the place is dirty!!!
Long waits. Pick up your beer as you go in and it will be warm by the time you get your food. Except for the brisket or pork sandwiches, everything is very salty. The meats, when good are great, but not always consistent. The sauces are rather tasteless...bring your own hot sauce to add some kick.
My wife and I felt so strongly after last nights meal at this restaurant that we were swindled out of $120.00 I thought I should write a fair review of Couture's to warn others so they wont have the same poor experience by making the mistake of eating dinner at this establishment.
The decor of the restaurant is pretty good, the owner has taken what was a dry cleaners and put a considerable amount of $$ into the remodel resulting in a pleasant atmosphere in a cozy "French" restaurant. Wines are sold by the glass, the wine was the good part of the meal. My wife ordered a glass of Cabernet and I had a light white wine, both were very good. The waitress suggested we try the mussels with a white wine, garlic sauce and french fries on top. I took the bait and ordered....I have had better quality mussels frozen from Safeway. In fact I suspect these were frozen from a supermarket. Small, little meat inside, McDonalds serves better french fries. My wife oredered a "garden fresh" salad I ordered a Cesar. The Garden fresh again seemed like it came out of a bag from a grocery store....lettuce was slightly wilted and the special dressing had little flavor. Keep in mind so far we've racked up over $40.00 for our wine, crappy mussels and salad. My Cesar salad was OK....Cesar is supposed to be made with large romaine lettuce leaves, this was small pieces of standard lettuce head with a 1/2 boiled egg on top and mediocre Cesar dressing. Want a good Cesar - go to the Famous! Finally our main course, I mistakenly ordered the pork loin - $24.00 my wife ordered the "Filet Mignon" - $36.00. They offer risoto as a 3 course for $10.00 per plate, fortunately we didn't waste our money on the risotto, I saw it plated at other tables and it did not look appetizing. My pork loin had some type of cream sauce with it I suppose to try and mask the fact that it was tough and unfavorable. A poor cut of meat....I can make a far better pork loin at home. My wife's filet I don't believe was an actual Filet cut of meat...it could have been was sirloin. It was cut into two halves circles of beef, each about 1/2 inch thick. I suspect it was cut this way to mask the fact it was not filet mignon. It was mediocre at best. For $36.00 we could have had a decent steak at the famous down the street. Final check was $120.00 .......what a rip off. Take my advice, - BEWARE of this place, they serve poor quality food.
Something happened to this place. They had a menu change that dumped some good dishes - such as lemon scallops - and generally lost the items that had the freshest tastes. Add medium/high prices in comparison with other Chinese food places in town and you have a recipe for mediocrity.
Excellent location for games of all kinds with views abound. Too bad the staff (the director) ruined my first time experience to this facility. Extremely disappointed when I found out this was own by my alma mater.
Beer is good but service usually really sucks. I avoid the overpriced food and the owner. I do like the diverse guest tap offerings but they too are overpriced. Have a couple cold Flos and go down the road to more friendly people.
Trinity has great beers! and the guest taps are bar none. However, the owner is not a very great guy, I have seen him stumbling drunk in the bar harassing other patrons and kicking people out that have done no wrong. He will try to pick fights with others who aren't in 100% compliance with his philosophy on beer. I have brought a lot of friends here and have never been so disappointed in an owner and a business. I really LOVED this brewery but the lack of professionalism and poor service from the bar staff has stopped me from coming here.
With every year Paravicini's declines a little more. What a joy it used to be - now it is just going through the motions.
Call me spoiled by New York, but I never found a meal at Paravacini's to be any better than OK. Better than the chains, but pretty mediocre by the standards of real neighborhood italian joints.
Slow service. Bartender busy talking with friends. Not friendly unless you are a regular
They DO have a large selection, but I have found the same yarns for lower prices in other stores. What they DON'T have is helpful, friendly employees. The older woman who was there when I was answered my questions with sarcastic comments and seemed to be resentful that I would even ask.
The last two times I've been there, the food has been mediocre at best....and seems like fewer and fewer people patronizing the once famous Amanda's.
I really like this story, and have followed in through several locations. They are now on North Academy north of Union Blvd ( 5744 n Academy) between a church and a liquor store. Best to shop online first, then visit the store. Otherwise there is just TOOO much to see it all..
