We are all Americans at this point. If someone is Irish they might like the drink as much as an Indian, or a Scot or a Kraut. Take responsibility for yourself and don't blame a bunch of folks having a drink and good meal in a place that has such amazing architecture, of which you should be proud.
I feel sorry for you and those with the problem mentioned although this has nothing to do with this venue, being a drunk is a choice this is not the 1800"s when the Indians were exploited. Help work with your people to honor themselves, no one is forcing anyone, the word Navajo in these times is used w/o prejudice .
the people were rude and made me feel like they had something against Americans. I would not eat here again, not good service, room bare with no decorations, just a dry wall for their menu. I will stick to eating at the Jamaican restaurants where the food is better and they treat everyone the same.
Best Thai in the Springs by far! We've tried several other Thai restaurants in town and always end up returning to Thai Mint to get our fix. The panang curry is flavorful and spicy and always consistent. If you become a regular you might end up being taught how to say thank you very much in Thai:)
Taste of India 2 is so delicious and the people are so nice there! The best customer service and the food is always so fresh! I absolutely love Taste of India!
Small, friendly, reasonably priced, and unpretentious, the food at Thai Mint is excellent and flavorful. You pick the heat or order mild and every dish is cooked fresh. Thai Mint is a Thai food lover's dream on the north side of town....
Very rude and unpleasant front desk
Always confirm a different appt date and time.
Slow service. Unfriendly.
Slow service. Bartender busy talking with friends. Not friendly unless you are a regular
Unfriendly atmosphere. Slow and poor service. Feels like only certain people are welcome. There was sweet 16 birthday party going on. Not recommended for a good time
I think this place is just wonderful. They have some of the best bud I have ever had. They have such good prices. And your price is no different then the member price. They don't have upper or lower shelf prices. They are all the same price. Specials all the time. The bud is out of sight I'm telling you. It is a little hard to find. But, boy was it worth it. Its down the street from the western gas station on Platte. The shop is actually on Saint Vrain. You have to check this place out. You won't be disappointed :-)
They DO have a large selection, but I have found the same yarns for lower prices in other stores. What they DON'T have is helpful, friendly employees. The older woman who was there when I was answered my questions with sarcastic comments and seemed to be resentful that I would even ask.
This looks like an absolutely delicious dish of gelato, homemade too!
I just read the review about it taking 25 mins for a calzone. Wow, I would have been overjoyed if it only took 25 mins. More like an hour!! Pizza was so so. Service was horrible and the place was a mess. $36 for crappy food. Do yourself a favor and don't go.
Get to Palmer Lake and try this place out, worth the drive! Best green chili I have had.
Everything I've ever had there is amazing!! One particular entree that blew me away is the salmon!! Every bite was heaven!! The prime rib will also make you a believer! :) I've moved out of state, but when I come back for visits, having another fantastic taste buds experience will HAVE to be at The Black Bear Restaurant!! On top of the superb cuisine, there's Victor Matthews who LOVES to hear about your dinning experiences face to face! If he possibly can, he will come out to your table to listen to your comments:) If you're a tourist, you'll take home exceptional memories of this restaurant!!!
Really great park to take the family. Great plase to run, barbeque and picnic. Also near many stores if you should want a drink or get hungry.
Dave...wow, what a different experience you had.
I have eaten there a half of dozen times and love it. It is sophisticated food, the place is very clean, the food extremely fresh and handcrafted, the manager works hard (which can be mistaken as being pre-ocuppied, but hey, try working that hard and being charming in the same breath...I think he does a good job at that).
The food is excellent...and I am not paid to say that, nor am I related. I have several friends who feel very good about Q's as well.
I don't see how people are giving this place such rave reviews when we had a VERY BAD experience there. The staff and manager always bickering; asking if we had reservations when the place was not full, seating us at a table that was difficult to sit at (high top) and by the door. They were sitting people by the windows and outside in the HEAT AND SMOKE to make it appear busier than it was. The food was so-so and did I say that the attitude of the manager was HORRIBLE the entire time? I feel that the people that like this place are friends of the owner or paid to say so. DO NOT GO THERE! BTW they NO NOT ask for ID's for the drinks (no one was asked) and they add tips to your amount after you sign the card receipt!
