Well here it is the last day of 2012 and they STILL haven't reopened. Let me say I loved 15c and I would honestly drive from Denver to drink there if they did reopen.
YES IT IS OPEN I SHOPPED LAST NITE GOT SOME KILLER BUBBLE HASH ANS PURLE VOODOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! SASHA WAS VERY NICE
The Yarn Outlet has graduated from being a discount yarn store to being a top destination for every yarn from I'm-just-learning-acrylics to designer cashmere, silk, alpaca and organic hand-painted special fibers. Their needle and accessory selection is great and it is now even less likely that you can leave without buying something. The owner is helpful and friendly and so are the knitters, of whom I am happy to be a regular one.
Channel five and Lisa are so awful, we stopped watching them over a decade ago. Hyped weather and the morning Gazette's news poorly delivered not at all understood is a waste of time to watch.
This is by far the nicest , most professional center I've come across in Colorado Springs. The pricing is outstanding and the quality exceptional. Everyone working seemed generally happy to be there and very willing to help me identify the right medicine for my needs. I have found my caregiver in the Healing Canna and I won't be looking elsewhere. Highly recommended.
Sorry, but I wasn't impressed at all with this facility. Pricing doesn't reflect the quality and I didn't feel the people working wanted my business, or didn't care if I bought from them or not. I won't be back. Bad 1st impression, lasting impression.
Just a bar at night, but during the day this is BBQ HEAVEN! I have lived all over (Thanks to the military... and I am from Texas where BBQ is a serious matter and not to be taken lightly so trust me when I rave.)
I have been to Kasey's DOZENS of times and every time I drag another geeky coworker with me in there they are forever thankful and in BBQ HEAVEN!
The 3-meat sampler is the best deal... just get that and plan on taking leftovers home. Oh! I saw an e-mail come out today at work saying that we are going to be having Kasey's come in to our office building so people can go and order a plate to take back to their offices.... WOOHOO! Hopefully this is a regular thing for us... AND I hope he has LOTS of food because we have 300 people between our two buildings of DoD contractors:) I love good food and don't care if the place is nothing fancy.
By the way, I have tried alllll the sides and never been disappointed in anything... EVER!
More of a talk station than a news station, but they do have the best radio newscasts in the area. KRDO and ABC News go a lot better together than KVOR and ABC.
This is the absolute worst station in the Pikes Peak area. Horrific affiliation with the worst broadcast news organization (NBC)- check. Ignoring the wildfire that threatened a good part of the Springs last summer while showing their Pueblo bias- check. Paying off the Gazette and various community events in order to claim Springs local status- check. Hopefully Springs viewers will wake up and realize that 11, 13, and even 21 are better than this waste of television space.
Good conservative lineup, but below average local news coverage (compared to KRCC and KRDO). And does the Springs really need 2 ABC News radio stations?
Would you believe that this station has fans (and strategically placed bumper stickers) in the Soho section of New York City?
The best of the Colorado Springs stations as far as news. They blew away the competition on covering last summer's inferno. And their newscasts can be viewed on the internet from anywhere- a big plus when you're on vacation and want to catch up on the news from home.
Typical top 40 station- but with a fresher playlist than usual for a smaller market like Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
Best of the local stations as far as contemporary music goes- but a bit too Clear Channel packaged. And for some reason, their signal is weak in the northern sections of the Springs.
I was with AOM from the beginning of their business when they were located on Colorado Ave. We were like family, and then the owners moved to a larger, more prosperous business, and everything changed. They have secretaries and front to be high-end. I miss the guys so much but you can't do much when people decide to be more big-business than people oriented. Do not shop here folks, you are a $$ in their eyes. The owners, middle-men, secretaries, etc. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
Like I said, I miss the boys dearly, but I would hate to go to them in an emergency. I have shopped with them for three years, and they refuse to recognize my face- (it is up to them to serve to you or not). Very, very sad with this outcome, and will miss Luke, Billy and Aaron dearly. Wish the feeling was mutual, but money changes people.
I used to drop 100-130 dollars every two weeks for a few years in spite of driving 20+ miles/visit, but it certainly wasn't their problem and let me know.
I tried to come in but there were chain link fences blocking me. Where is the entrance?
ya get what ya pay for. Nice peeps but the bud was so low quality. Maybe for baking hmm...
Yay nice dudes ! Good bud, big selection. I was shown everything on my first visit, and they sold me some killer choc chunk. yummy
Great Tunez!!!
Good bud , nice chix, the manager is pretty rude tho..
Re: “Red Rock Lounge”
We stopped in here New Years Eve to have a couple beers. The regulars are not at all friendly and are in fact quite hostile to outsiders. We played a game of darts and a loudmouthed regular wanted to fight us over it. When we didn't fall for his threats, he harassed us non stop as we played. Go there only if you want to get into a fight with a regular. There are bars in town with much cooler clientele.
