I've been in a few times, and I REALLY love it. I was crushed when the Rocket Room, the previous club, closed... but this has TRULY made up for it. The decor is beautiful, the music is fabulous, and the staff and regulars include some of the fundamental players in the local scene going back as far as the 80's. If it's this fabulous when it's this new, I expect that within a few more months it will be one of the hottest clubs in town, and may even destroy the Underground's HUGELY outdated rep as THE local goth club. I give it four stars.. and will raise it to five if they add bar food.
Our first experience here was for Valentines Day a couple of years ago and we were seated in the ballroom, which was converted to a dining room for the occasion. It was okay, but less than perfect. We just went back again a couple of weeks ago and were royally treated in the 'proper' dining room. The wine list is very extensive and the food and service were superb. We're putting this place on our top 10 list of local restaurants.
All I can say is WATCH OUT BLACK SHEEP.... SUNSHINE STUDIOS LIVE ROCKS!!
ITS ALWAYS PACKED NOW. All the bands I have seen there just love this place. Who needs a bar... Its a Venue and the best in the Springs!! Best Sound, Lighting and Stage... The crew are Pro's and know what there doing. See you guys this week end!!
Had breakfast in the dining room recently. This is allegedly a 4 diamond place, but the floor was dirty (food crumbs), the cream was old and curdled in the coffee, the service was slow and inattentive, but the food was good. It will be interesting to see if they hold on to all of their diamonds.
fabulous location, free books and movies, and the nicest librarians! The BEST bang for your buck!!!
a great little home town bank, with great service and friendly people!
Taking good care of children is truly the most important job on earth!!!
Awesome, Free, Nature at Her Best!!!
the petrified redwoods are quite something to experience! And great hiking trials, right in my back yard!
Loved this place. The drinks were great and the music was fantastic. I can't wait to go back!

Service is horrible!!!
The staff is inattentive and dismissive. It's painfully obvious they they are easily overcome by events. The bartender is overly concerned with catering to female patrons rather than his actual job. The acoustics in the place are terrible and it's a shame because the bands are great. The music is almost drowned out by people chatting away. Most of this is attributed to the fact that the place is in the garage of the owners other business which the staff freely admits, like its a good thing. The food is way overrated and over priced as well as the drinks. The entire place has an air of extreme pretentiousness as the staff is overly concerned with local elites (some Army General's wife) that frequent the place while in turn neglecting other customers. I recommend with conditions namely eat before you go, don't expect prompt service and sit outside as the indoor acoustics are almost unbearable.
Sunshine studios may have a good recording area, but the place isn't ideal for live shows. I wouldn't recommend that bands attempt to play there.
1) it's off the beaten path, no one comes out to the shows.
2) they charged us to play, no other venue does that
3) the sound system is weak and not loud, mixed down bad
4) we got a hum during our set, they couldn't figure it out for half the song.
5) bought their DVD which had horrible sound quality.
I wouldn't recommend that bands play at this venue. This review is
for their live shows, i'm not sure about their recording abilities. Considering
the DVD's quality though, it may not be all that great.
Re: “Zodiac”
well the underground always supports goth night so i wouldn't put them down, everyone else always abandons the scene.
