Re: “FAC merger, 2C spending, bus schedule changes, and more

City leadership is either crooked or clueless. Not only are the potholes GETTING WORSE--- the malarkey "City For Chumps" is proceeding at record pace-
The entire construction zone between 8th street on 24 and the 25 interchange is a disaster. You dang near need an MSHA certification, hard hat and orange vest to drive through it.

Too bad Joel Miller was not elected as Mayor. We should probably go ahead and try and impeach someone, at least remind the bologna political class that we are maybe able to assert a bit of power? We sure could use leaders like Brandi Williams back in office- we have a lot of great opportunities- how fun is it to imagine who could replace Lamborn? so fun....

Re: “Springs shows up for racial justice, answering national call-to-action

Despite all their posturing and self-ascribed good intentions, SURJ is nothing more than another pack of racists. The very idea of separating people and placing different responsibilities on one racial group over another smacks of South African apartheid. The problems we have are not "white people problems," "black people problems," or "brown people problems." They are PEOPLE problems, and this finger-pointing mob is not helping.

Re: “10-year-old is seizure-free after one year of cannabis oil

In Dec. of 2014 I was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the age of 39. The doctors could give me no hope. I did have chemo and radiation, the doctors thought that could prolong my life for a little while. In March of 2015 I had surgery, thats when they found that the cancer had spread to my lymp nodes in my right hip area and couldn't get it all with the surgery. Now it looked like 3-6 months is all I would live. It was a very aggressive form of colorectal cancer.

While searching through the internet i saw lots of testimonies about how people called cured of cancer with the help of cannabis oil, so i had to try if i could get cured and still say my own testimony. I saw this email and contacted them in hope of getting the oil and it was delivered to me after taking the oil as prescribed i went for more test and found out that most of the cancer cells were dead and i want everyone to know that am perfectly fine and happy with my family.

Re: “Looking toward permanent sustainable funding for city parks

TOPS is flawed. What kind of land acquisition program fails to consider future maintenance and upkeep? Time to take TOPS back to the drawing board before it bankrupts us all to pay for its own shortcomings.

Re: “10-year-old is seizure-free after one year of cannabis oil

A great testimony I must share to all cancer patients in the world. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 primary liver cancer in March 2014, doctor told us there was not much to be done since the tumor was 7 inches covering his lower lobe and also had spread to his lymph nodes, We decided to go home and called hospice which gave us morphine for pain, Ed hated the morphine which made him vomit and also affected his mind. After one week at home we decided to do what we have done for many years, rely on ourselves. We were only in Hospital for 3 days with severe Pain, the cancer had blocked his bile duct, after that we choose a Naturalist doctor and have not had conventional treatments.

One day i came across the use of cannabis oil for treatment of cancer and i saw a post on how a cancer patient was cured with cannabis oil. I urgently needed help and i contacted the email :( to get the cannabis oil, i was given instructional guide on how to use it. After taking a gram of oil per day, Within a couple of weeks his pain and swollen stomach disappeared and with it came hope and a good quality of life,we did it without
undergoing surgery or and other physical medical pains.

We never saw an oncologist and only have done a blood test after the first diagnose CT scan. His tumor marker went from over
6000 to normal and he is feeling well. We don’t know how this is going to play out, but enjoy every day and give thanks to God. As i am writing this post, my husband is free from liver cancer and the doctor confirmed that the cancer is gone. For immediate assistance on every medical issue you and your family may be experiencing, contact Dr Rick via email: ( for more information and the delivery process.
This cannabis oil have healed over 5000 people with different types and stages of cancer.

Re: “UPDATE: Anschutz in bed with anti-LGBT forces

Who actually gives the SPLC, who in reality is a liberal hate group, any credibility anyway? They list someone as a hate group if they look at them cross-eyed.

Nevermind. The answer to the question is liberal kooks.

Re: “Looking toward permanent sustainable funding for city parks

"Let's establish a funding mechanism for permanent dedicated sustainable funding for our parks system."

That's code for more taxes, y'all.

"Colorado Springs ranks in the bottom third of Front Range cities for parks land per person."

Acreage per person is irrelevant. Colorado Springs has a jeweled necklace of great parks: Palmer Park, Ute Valley Park, Bear Creek, Red Rock Canyon, Monument Valley, and of course Garden of the Gods, with plenty of smaller and pocket parks all over town.

If the goal is to preserve and protect our parks, then the Council simply needs to address it in the budget better. That's on them, not on the taxpayers.

Re: “Iconic movie mixes nostalgia with history

"I was a snobby 12-year-old..."

And now you're a snobby 76 year-old. Haven't learned a thing, have you, Hazy-hurts?

Only a true schmuck like you could segue from a classic movie like Singing in the Rain to racism.

Why don't you enjoy the movie for what it is, and take your race-baiting with you somewhere else where less-evolved people drink that crap up?

Oh, wait, that place is your liberal Utopiaville...

Tom DeLorey: Doug Bruce and Helen Collins warned you about this. They were right.

David Johnson: see what Tom DeLorey was asking about.

Don McCullen: why so obsessed about voyeurism in bathrooms unless you're the one doing it? If you're so obsessed about sexualizing bodily functions, then only go to the bathroom in your home--where the bathroom is already transgender whether you like it or not. Just remember to put the seat down when you're done.

Bob: As long as the GOP runs COLO SPGS and El Paso County all that citizens can do is bend over. The GOP and the billionaires who own them consider anything within our national borders as theirs to play with and do with as they choose. The GOP will sell your city out from under you.

this guy is soooo stupid he doesn't even realize THERE IS NO RELATIONSHIP...people in this town hate C.S.P.D. we had to pass conceal carry just so we could feel safe here. the police lie on reports and false report to their commanding officers, when they are caught doing wrong they get "now don't do that again" the police force here in Colorado HAS NO OVERSITE they can do what they want when they want. the state doesn't even have a department that over see local law enforcement.

Tom and David. West Uintah drivers worry about a DUI for dodging craters. But the new gutters sure look nice. The city wants to extend Centenial. But before they do maybe they should take care of the one they have. We west siders are buying up moon rovers just to get home.

Re: “Broadmoor makes move on city reservoir

I opposed the land swap because I thought it set a very bad precedent for more public land to be taken, and now this on it's heels. When do we just say "NO"?
