Re: “Centennial extension, the state constitution, 'welfare queens,' and more

Cars and guns are dangerous, duh. Those that use them often die by their own hand. You will hear a "pop" and then this thread is dead.

Re: “5 surprising facts about homeless camps

Three things YOU don't know.

Eighty percent of it is alcoholism.

Forty percent are profoundly mentally ill.

Ten percent are badass survivalists that dropped out.

Re: “Wish We Were Here killed as KRCC adapts to survive

I know this is an Indy site, but after the exhaustive coverage of the Strberry Fields problem, I still lacked understanding UNTIL WWWWH enlightened me. I told Beary that local content was the future of KRCC. I know Noel is really full of himself, and probably demanded NY kind of money. He deserves it! Noel is gone, KRCC will follow. I guess you guys should eat some humble pie. Give the station back to the students, but keep GT! Let's face it, you guys got news on a loop. I have to stop what I'm doing to change the station because I already heard that story last hour. Pushing Noel to the internet will enhance it, while KRCC dies. I love my old school radio! BRICKHOUSE!

"What's so cute about it Odin, " - Lil Mick

Because in the past you have tried to paint yourself as a civil adult by doing exactly the same thing and then immediately started insults and name calling. Then when you got handed your hat, you claimed you were leaving and never coming back. Now, seeing you pull the same stunt again, I have to laugh. Especially since you directed your "rules" at me specifically even before I made any post on this page -- which in itself would be a form of personal attack.

But, I am willing to give you a second chance. So how about you take on my second post?

Re: “Bearden finds her true self as transgender athlete

Thank you Tim for writing this inspiring story. I love my new found daughter and I hope other transgender people out there will find love and support from their families and friends. They will make huge changes but their heart remains the same.

What a misleading headline. Poor journalism that reflects on the rest of your content.

Re: “Centennial extension, the state constitution, 'welfare queens,' and more

insecure, scared and intellectually challenged people (more than likely on the government dole and not admit it) are hilarious. cling to your guns... if it makes you feel better, but the rest of us will make sure appropriate regulations will be put in place to keep you "whack-jobs and moon-bats" away from guns. now angrily spew your nonsense little miss liberty.

Re: “Centennial extension, the state constitution, 'welfare queens,' and more

Liberty, your immediate response to my challenge was awesome. I read it twice and I did not find one single insult towards me, thank you.

I don't deserve to be insulted or called names or labeled and my views and opinions have value, just as yours do.

I will respond Liberty because you approached my comment and opinions with respect, that is all I ask.

Now....
Unfortunately, HappyFew, who is on the side of gun safety legislation brought us back down to the gutter of name calling. :(

Happy... Gun nuts?? Calling them Dumb?? Not good. Name calling does not help our cause, we must remain above that nonsense.

Then my good friend Liberty couldn't help himself, couldn't stand above Happy's insults and flopped back into the gutter of insults with Happy.

"Hyper-regressives. whack-jobs and moon-bats like "happyfew""...really...really... was that necessary? Liberty, you had the opportunity to rise above Happy's insults, but you didn't :(

..and Liberty, what does this have to do with the Gun conversation...
"Lemme guess, Mickey; you support Obamacare as well...."

Just one quick response to Odin...this guy can be even more insulting than LIberty...

Odin's comment:
""Rules of Engagement for an Adult Dialog" - Lil Mick
That is cute, coming from you."

What's so cute about it Odin, am I not acting like an adult? Do you disagree with what I wrote about rules of engagement? It's easy to write those words, now back it up, explain why my desire to have an adult conversation is so "cute".

Re: “This summer, homelessness is everyone's problem

It would be interesting to know the real cause behind this explosion of the homeless problem. It cannot be the economy, as we are being told the jobless rate is only 5%. Could it be that the myriad of homeless programs and ample civilian generosity themselves are to blame?

Re: “Wish We Were Here killed as KRCC adapts to survive

It doesn't cost more to produce, as the article states. This American Life costs way more. 6k is what krcc pays to get it on the air. Read better next time.

Re: “Wish We Were Here killed as KRCC adapts to survive

Sorry but WWWH was a terrible show. The fact that it cost more to produce than This American Life, one of the most popular shows on NPR, is appalling.

Re: “Centennial extension, the state constitution, 'welfare queens,' and more

"they are all incapable of having a rational conversation because they are dumb and use their guns to compensate for their all their lackings"

Didya all get that?

Anyone that disagrees with the frothy rantings of "few" is "dumb", and doing so out of a compensatory desire to overcome inherent short-comings based upon firearm ownership, which is the obviously the only way their ideologies can manifest themselves.

Miss "few"--I'll hereby pronounce it "F.U." as in, "Hey, F.U.!"--how do you attempt to overcome the multitudes of personal character flaws and intellectual liabilities you possess in such incredible abundance?

By posting unhinged rants devoid of fact/s or substance in public threads?

Wanna actually discuss studies done on gun violence--I've already provided a link to one, your turn, or is it easier to just implode, then explode--KABLOOIE!--for our general amusement?

Re: “Centennial extension, the state constitution, 'welfare queens,' and more

Hyper-regressives. whack-jobs and moon-bats like "happyfew" are saddened because there are still some in the populace that don't need the gov't to think, act, do for them--a perpetual problem with personal accountability and individual responsibility is her's to overcome, not mine--and as far as political infleunce peddling; there's nothing like liberals who spend to get their way:

http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2014/08/wh…

From the link: "One of the first things you may notice about the 2014 list is that of the top 20 organizations, only two favor Republicans. The rest, with the exception of one “on the fence” trade association, all strongly prefer liberal policies and Democratic candidates. ActBlue, long a major player in directing small contributions to Democrats, tops the list of organizations. In addition, 11 of the top 20 organizations are unions. This is a pronounced shift from 2012. In that election cycle, seven of the top 20 organizations favored conservatives."

"Few", I'm curious: How does it feel to be so wrong, so often, so publicly? Is this some form of masochism manifesting itself for our amusement, or are you an intentional plant by the Repubs to make liberals look foolish and ignorant?

Re: “Centennial extension, the state constitution, 'welfare queens,' and more

gun nuts can only regurgitate nra BS. the nra has stopped all true gun statistics analysis because they know it will show guns kill a lot of people and should be heavily regulated. they are all incapable of having a rational conversation because they are dumb and use their guns to compensate for their all their lackings. so go off gun nuts... it is the only thing you know how to do.

Re: “Centennial extension, the state constitution, 'welfare queens,' and more

Mickey, this matter has been discussed, debated, argued and screamed about for decades; centuries, actually.

In the end, the 2nd stands unaltered, and shall remain so, regardless of the short-sighted, knee-jerk reactionaries than feel compelled to take action/s against inanimate hunks of metal and steel instead of those that wield them.

Far easier to tackle a tool than a person, or a flawed, ephemeral concept instead of the fact that crime rates have been going down for decades:

http://www.cnn.com/2013/05/08/us/study-gun…

(Except in hyper-liberal locales like Baltimore, Detroit, D.C., NOLA and everyone's favorite open-air range, Chi-Town, where the failed POTUS hails from):

http://crime.chicagotribune.com/chicago/ho…

Hundreds of millions of peaceable, law-abiding citizens own hundreds of millions of guns that will never be involved in any crimes--much less homicides--yet regressives insist on "helping" a fractional minority at the expense the vast, VAST majority in yet another example of pointless posturing and "Look, I care and am doing something!" self-aggrandizement and personal back-patting.

Lemme guess, Mickey; you support Obamacare as well, even though it's a legislative tire-fire, built on intential deception and falsehood, sold to the "stupid" (their words, not mine) and an expensive boon-dgoggle that has led to millions of policy cancellations and insurers that were to be a cornerstone of this leaving the marketplace.

Please Google the "Law of Unintended Consequences" when time allows...
