Re: “Best Of Colorado Springs 2014 Vol. 2: Welcome and Winners Index

Congratulations to Anthony Graham/ Broken Glass Photography!!! This guy... THIS GUY... has got to be one of the most talented photographers who has ever walked through our doors at Voodoo Leatherworks and between his talent, the love of his craft and his amazingly positive energy... he's just an absolute pleasure to work with on *any* project.

As for the Indy's comment that he may not be your guy for wedding photos unless your wedding includes bondage? Well... he's a damned good wedding photographer too,

Re: “Best of Colorado Springs 2013: Shopping

Ah, I only had a few brief days in Colorado Springs last year. Needless to say, I did not miss out on the shopping! I couldn't agree more with the Vol II assessment! Thiago | http://www.faithfulfriendsanimalhospital.c…

Re: “Best of Colorado Springs 2013, Part I: Welcome and Winners Index

Silver Pond Chinese is awful. We recently went there with a large party and it took 2 1/1 hours to get our food. I wanted to walk out, but the others in my group hoped we would get served soon. Food came out slowly & sporadically and service was non existent. Soup was lukewarm at best, we had to take our own silverware from another empty table, we cleared our own table - and after waiting 20 minutes initially when we sat down, we helped ourselves to our own menus. At the end of the meal after being at the restaurant for over 3 hours, we spoke with the manager about our very unpleasant dining experience and asked for compensation. She was willing to take off the price of 2 appetizers from a $200 bill, which was almost nothing, an insult. Any other restaurant that values their customers would have made a greater effort to satisfy 3 families, rather than send them away unhappy. After much negotiation back & forth, she wound up taking $30 off the bill, which we felt was still not enough considering the terrible experience we had. We will not be back.

How can a person be listed as a top doctor (Memorial Sunflower Family Medicine) if they will not accept a new patient with medicaid. My goodness aren't we living in a third world country

Lovers of pepperoni pizza MUST try Marco's, whose Pepperoni Magnifico pizza is the best tasting pepperoni pizza I've ever tasted. Do try it. Comes regular or thin crust.

I just can't find Red Robin burgers worth eating. Too much goo on a tasteless patty; really, ketchup, mustard and mayo all on one burger? Yuck.

Smashburger has burgers that TASTE great and their fries are quite good.

Green Line Grill (recently opened) across from Habitat for Humanity Re-Store on Wahsatch, has a truly awesome burger and the best fries I've had in years. Link to story:

I've been there, it's an awesome place. I went there after leaving a tattoo shop in Colorado Springs.

I'm glad LaBaguette is still winning. I worked there for Earl Turnipseed for 12 1/2 years. We always won for best bakery and best bread for many years.

The worst hot dogs and the filthiest diner in town is the Hot Dog shack next to the Walgreens on North Nevada.

Doug Bruce is his own worst enemy by his behavior. However, he is the author of the Tax Payers Bill Of Rights (TABOR). TABOR is one of Colo. Spgs. greatest claims to fame, as it gave the voters power that was taken away from politicians. Imagine what our taxes would be if the politicians were allowed to tax us at will!
