Re: “El Paso County will likely ban marijuana social clubs

El Paso County Colorado stop making proclamations against marijuana. The personal dislike of marijuana should not allow people with positions of power to create laws to prevent what they feel is wrong. It is about politics and not protection. Voters need to really look at the abuses of power from the BoCC, Health Department Board and now the planning commission.

Hey, Luke. FYI: selling ANY marijuana is against the law. Amazing how one given a crown wants a crown only for themselves.

Give people power - and true colors show. Your argument is laughable based on your own testimony. You're breaking federal laws, Luke. So stand up for liberty. We're glad to welcome you back to the principles we fought together on.

Re: “Visualize the growth of fracking

GREAT- Can't wait for the earthquakes to start like in Ohio & OK after they started fracking, and in Texas small towns are running out of water since they sold the water rights to the fracking companies. Good Luck with that.

Re: “El Paso County will likely ban marijuana social clubs

How about the MMJ state division work out the employment & driving laws? MMJ needs to be re-scheduled by the Feds and not considered a Schedule 1 drug like meth & heroin. We should not be able to be fired from our jobs just because we are MMJ patients, and we should not have such a vague driving standard of 5 nonograms to be intoxicated.

I had myself test twice: after waking up that day and not having smoked for 12 hours for my blood test I still came in at 18 nonograms (they told me a contact buzz would still register as 15 nonograms) and with my pee test I came in at 97. This isn't an accurate measure for DUI driving and a better method needs to be resolved!

Re: “El Paso County will likely ban marijuana social clubs

Luke Bonow, you're funny. I built your website. I've referred literally hundreds of patients your way. I helped AOM from the beginning. I worked, marched and petitioned City Hall to end prohibition of MMJ in the Springs. I served on the Mayor's Task force and together opened the door for all MMJ.

We won on a 5-4 split at city hall. 1 vote. Back then MMJ was EVIL. One vote less and YOU wouldn't even be here. Remember?

Your self righteousness shows your true colors. It's OK for YOU - but ending prohibition for adult use in a social and safe environment is too much liberty for you.

Crawl back into your barrel of false patriotism, or come out and fight for liberty.

Re: “El Paso County will likely ban marijuana social clubs

Being that marijuana is the 'least toxic drug' known on Earth, as characterized by pharmacologists and physicians alike, how about we just fight to designate cannabis as a vegetable and stop treating it like alcohol, which kills tens of thousands of people a year?! Allowing marijuana to be regulated like alcohol assumes there is a danger and risk in it's consumption and if we accept this as truth, then the politicians get away with being liars and thieves!! Facts and truth are the only sustainable reasons for fighting for the legitimacy of a plant that far outweighs the benefits of any other consumable drug sold in the U.S.
