Re: “Glenn, Lamborn dominate GOP primary results

Ya know, with the Tea Party endorsing the GOP runner TRUMP, I don't know how anyone can say they have creditability anymore. Dobson claims "he is a newly born again" and will need their panel of conservative Christians to guide him, but TRUMP is going to be like a WILD BOAR in the White House- untamed, uncivilized and self-serving when it comes to what is best for our country. Can't wait for this election go down in November- LMAO!!!

Re: “Centennial extension, the state constitution, 'welfare queens,' and more

Mr. Odin....

First, my apology to Odin, I read his post and thought it was Liberty, I gave Kudos to Liberty by was Odin that posted a response to me without a single insult to me.

Lets have an awesome dialog, you and I Odin, I would love that. Let's start with the first point I made with your response.

My Point:
"You folks seem to continue to push this false message that gun safety legislation is going to take your guns away," - Lil Mick

Odin's Response:
Not all of them all at once. But countless legislators and politicians have espoused doing basically that by adopting restrictions like those in the UK and Australia, where owning even a shotgun is very difficult and everything else much more so, and where massive "mandatory buy backs" and turn-ins were held -- AKA confiscations and bans. You can claim that no one wants to do this until you are blue in the face, but you are only fooling yourself.

My Response:
There is nothing factual to this response, this is an opinion.

"Countless legislatures and politicians"
...ok, if they are countless, there must be a lot and they must be easy to name, can you give me a few who has espoused in taking all guns away from the civilian population?

...It's your opinion, which I will respect, but it is without any factual basis. Can't debate a factless opinion, I think you all do this and that is when the dialog goes to the crapper.

...I will stand strong on this as a fact, no one, no politician, no legislature is trying to take hunting rifles. If anyone did, I, as a progressive would oppose such legislation. I live in Vermont and hunting is very..very big here, I would stand side by side with you Odin and Liberty in opposing such legislation. That's a promise.

...So, Odin, if you can't tell me which of the countless legislatures want to take all guns away including hunting rifles, then my point stands.

...Saying this "You can claim that no one wants to do this until you are blue in the face, but you are only fooling yourself." Is worthless without facts to back it up.

Opinions need to always be backed up by facts in a dialog, or it is nothing more than an opinion and you cannot debate opinions, you can only debate the facts.

I still stand, no one is espousing that we take your guns away.

Right now, it is just background check loopholes, Assault style semi automatic long guns maybe, but not hunting rifles.

Your response is simply non factual...not true...and we need to stop this false narrative and really debate the facts.

Thank you Odin, for your willingness to talk to me as friends who simply have a different point of view.

Was this response both adult and respectful to you Odin?

Is LFA the old malcontent known as "tejon tech"? Man, we are in trouble if Allen is armed.
Anyway, live by the sword, die by the sword.

Re: “Wish We Were Here killed as KRCC adapts to survive

So you drive around with a microphone and mix it down with "Audition", Jake's fave, ... How's that ten grand? This should be a wake up call to kids that want to tell a story for five hundred bux! Every KRCC listener has preferences. I turn off Keillor. Dance revo has no taste and is from elsewhere. Youth is right, give it back to the kids! These board members and directors are just local socialites that are so "artsy"(puke!) KEPC seems more real(if they had the BBC...OH MY ...HEAVENLY!)
Noel just droned anyway...sounded too indistinguishable from Jake, now there's a kid with some sense! Don't let the big city kill ya, Noel...oh yeah, that's why you came crawling back.

Re: “UPDATE; City threatened with free speech lawsuit for Jesus ban

Well, let someone put up that God does not exist bench and see how fast that causes an uproar.

Re: “Listen to the Jesus bench complaint

First, I am atheist. I find this "Jesus" message less offensive than McDonalds or Coors appearing on a public ad. they too try to drive us to a specific product, and face it, religion is a product. If it helps defray the cost of the bus system, let it stand. Besides, The name Jesus is common among Hispanics, maybe one of them got promoted, good for him.

Re: “Strawberry Fields in Cheyenne Cañon is on the table for a swap with The Broadmoor

My mother had been diagnosed of Hepatitis B disease 3 years ago. She had been using the interferon therapy (Peg-interferon + Ribavirin) which adversely affected her hemoglobin level as she is also thalassemic (a side effect of using the interferon therapy). Luckily after stopping the treatment.

I read a book by HEALTH MED LAB about natural cures and he recommends these two things as a natural cure for HEPATITIS disease,Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy and Crocodile Protein Peptide. You can Google both of these to get more info. Also, need to do the cleanses, colon, liver, kidney, galbladder. Eat organic foods to get the toxins out of your body so your body can overcome the disease itself. This is important. I am not promoting his book, but I feel it is a must read if you want information on how to beat this awful disease. My mother is now HEPATITIS Negative with his help, Anyway, his email : ( ) God bless and good luck!

Re: “Strawberry Fields in Cheyenne Cañon is on the table for a swap with The Broadmoor

I was diagnosed of hepatitis B in 2011 and I have tried all possible means to get cure but all to no avail, until i saw a post in a health form about a herbal doctor from South Africa who prepare herbal medicine to cure all kind of diseases including pancreatitis, at first i doubted if it was real but decided to give it a try, when i contact this herbal doctor via his email, he prepared an herbal medicine and sent it to me via courier service, when i received this herbal medicine, he gave me step by instructions on how to apply it, when i applied it as instructed, i was cured of this deadly disease within 6 days, I am now free from the deadly disease, my digestive system is now working perfectly, i no longer feel all the horrible pains. Contact this great herbal doctor via his email:

Re: “Don't believe every No. 1 ranking for Colorado Springs

I agree with your observation that COS is not #1 in the tiny home movement. It is not. In fact, there is no legal place within COS that one can place a tiny home. Most tiny homes are actually RVs and not permanent homes. That means you can stay on a property for 30 days only and then you must move it. Or stay in a RV park. Not much of an affordable housing solution. Just another RV that looks like a tiny home.

If you want to talk about bringing affordable housing to COS (and not $1,200 per month rents in downtown high rise bldgs.) then start with the basics why there is no infill affordable housing in downtown, Hillside and Westside. Planning fees, utility tap fees, building permit fees, planning restrictions, etc. is a good starting point. But then again, small developers that can produce infill affordable housing have no clout with city leaders or planners. Ask why a tap fee for a 800 SF house in the Hillside neighborhood costs as much as the tap fees for a 5,000 SF house in the Broadmoor area of the city. Makes no sense.

Re: “Centennial extension, the state constitution, 'welfare queens,' and more

"insecure, scared and intellectually challenged people (more than likely on the government dole and not admit it) are hilarious"

Your's is obviously the voice of experience, but you're not "hilarious", you're pathetic in the extreme, and you write like there's a vaccum-chamber between your ears.

"the rest of us will make sure appropriate regulations will be put in place"

Bottom line? Nothing proposed by legislators has passed, and Congressional Dems had to resort to pentulant infancy and infantile posturing before it was over, which obviously has "inspired" you here, LOL!

Do you understand? NOTHING is going to be changed regarding ownership, so please continue with more goofy histrionics and sloppy diatribes; it only underscores how unhinged and unglued some uber-liberals become when they don't get their way.

Something like ninety percent of gun suicides are with a legal gun, owned by the deceased. Vitriol consumes it's owner. The second to last thing to go through your mind will be dissatisfaction.

Re: “This summer, homelessness is everyone's problem

Those hooligans in manitou paralyzed a kid with a severe beating on the bandstand. Then, they set up a pink Floyd cover band on the bloodstains. Hey manitards, put down the bong and go to the spa building, encircle them, hold hands and sing "We shall overcome" until they leave.

Re: “This summer, homelessness is everyone's problem

I keep feeding them downtown, but they won't leave! This is on the Catholics. Move the soup kitchen. Require every recipient to register with a photo id. Mark every breadbag "MH" or "ESM". So what if it's fascist, the id REQUIRED to eat will scare most of them off. Cox is overunderthinking. It's hot, I ain't walking far to eat or poop. It's just food acquisition, get a bottle, poop and pass out.

Cars and guns are dangerous, duh. Those that use them often die by their own hand. You will hear a "pop" and then this thread is dead.

Re: “Wish We Were Here killed as KRCC adapts to survive

I know this is an Indy site, but after the exhaustive coverage of the Strberry Fields problem, I still lacked understanding UNTIL WWWWH enlightened me. I told Beary that local content was the future of KRCC. I know Noel is really full of himself, and probably demanded NY kind of money. He deserves it! Noel is gone, KRCC will follow. I guess you guys should eat some humble pie. Give the station back to the students, but keep GT! Let's face it, you guys got news on a loop. I have to stop what I'm doing to change the station because I already heard that story last hour. Pushing Noel to the internet will enhance it, while KRCC dies. I love my old school radio! BRICKHOUSE!

"What's so cute about it Odin, " - Lil Mick

Because in the past you have tried to paint yourself as a civil adult by doing exactly the same thing and then immediately started insults and name calling. Then when you got handed your hat, you claimed you were leaving and never coming back. Now, seeing you pull the same stunt again, I have to laugh. Especially since you directed your "rules" at me specifically even before I made any post on this page -- which in itself would be a form of personal attack.

But, I am willing to give you a second chance. So how about you take on my second post?

Thank you Tim for writing this inspiring story. I love my new found daughter and I hope other transgender people out there will find love and support from their families and friends. They will make huge changes but their heart remains the same.
