Don't forget Charlie Milo Trio featuring former Grass it Up keyboard player Danny Karpel at Front Range BBQ on saint Patty's day! Danny will be with us the whole set to celebrate his 40th birthday! We are also going to be releasing new merch - a t-shirt and poster from Pueblo's own Lastleaf Printing! Hope to see y'all out there! - Charlie
First let me say I enjoy reading Reverb in each edition of The Independat!
I am Tommy Gunn, frontman for March Heir, a local Country Rock band with a CD in production for release this summer. March Heir is performing at Sunshine Studios Live Events Center on Saturday March 10,2012 at 8:00 and 10:00 PM,
We are filming a music video of the material on our upcoming CD and follow-up tour. We are giving away our pre-release CDs to the first 50 people who attend the event, and attendees will be in the video with national distrbution. Additionally, our performance that night will be streeming live on Youtube.
I am from N.Y. as is my management company and record label. Therefore I am unfamiliar with the promotioal entities in this area. I am seeking advertisement in the Reverb section to invite musicians, performers, dancers, and anyone wanting to appear in a music video to Sunshine Studios on March 10th.
I am hoping you can assist me in this regard, as I think being the first band from Colorado Springs to release a CD with a major label, would be of great interest to our friends in the Springs. I would appreciate hearing from you to discuss how we might ptoceed with the plans I have outlined.
I welcome a call at 229-4437, or you can email me at email@example.com. By the way, I have put our bio in The Independant, so you can familiarize yourself further with the band. Thank you in advance for your help in this regard as I remain gratefully yours:

Thanks for the mention, Bill! But.... The quote you're referencing is from an ITUNES review... (Written by my old roommate Adam.) http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/mostly-…
The Thwonk event is gonna own!
Thanks, Bill! You are the truly the dope of the dopest.
Sorry, Bert. Fixed it online, and will mention it in next week's column.
Kali Spear is a Bert Maple project
Green Acres! Where's ARNOLD ZIFFLE!?
Looks like I forgot to remind you about the "I can't wait for Halloween" party at the Zodiac on October 30th. It will feature prizes from the leechpit, zeezo's and ivywild costumes. It will also feature a Dj set from Animus Invidious (spinning spooky nerdy tunes), two sets of original CM3 music plus a set of all star wars material! Guest musicians will feature: Benjamin Pratt, DJ Gravity, Grant Sabin, Qiana Glaze (of Gaia Experiment), Jason Davis (of Gaia Experiment and Red Shirt), Bob Braidwood (of Cous and the Bluez Knightz), Tim Briggs, Frank G (of Soco), Madtrees and possibly more. Hope to see you there, Bill!
Thanks, Damian. And while you're at it, you can read our Rev. Peyton interview at http://www.csindy.com/colorado/patton-pend…
See mike Clark Sunday night with Rev. Peyton's Big Damned band and Austin Lucas at the Black Sheep!
that might be tough, since Chris 'Tall City' Bullock is moving away Monday! I wonder who will play keyboard at the Black Sheep show?
Come to the Triple Nickel on Saturday for some Denver Psychobilly the Royal Dead and locals The Cannibal Creeps!
Thanks Bill! Glad you liked it.
You gotta see this new hot band!! From Slaves to Kings... Rock the way it should be!! I saw them at Union Station in Colorado Springs! AWESOME!!
I didn't say it was closed, I said it was dead. Now, 'The Gig' was the place to see new acts of promise but sadly it did close. But the Whiskey? (feel free to smack YOUR spell checker here) Naaaaaa....
Actually DanceDancer, the club has bands every night of the week. Try spelling it correctly when you search (no "e") or just go to http://www.whiskyagogo.com/site/
Uh, the Whiskey has been dead for at least 10 years...
Yeeeeah. Geez, cuz you know what there's not enough of? Indie folk. I just never get tired of it. Hey Bill, did you like, loooove The Strokes ten years ago? Like they were just so visceral and raw? Instead of spending half your article going down on Haunted Windchimes, you could cover everything else happening this week, which is a ton. But, on second thought, don't. There's bands in town that're busy building a scene, but if you don't dig around, you'll never find it. But hey, yuppies and cc kids like Haunted Windchimes, so I guess it makes it easy on you, huh?
oops i said saturday too many times. argh there i go again.
