Re: “Noted: Open-carry arrest

Hilarious, the arrest was planned, and carried out. It's a Slapp Suit, where the police target people, arrest and embarrass them, then say, "Oh, sorry."

Cranky has a sense of humor? Who would have thought? It wasn't particularly funny. But, at least he tried. WTG Cranky!

Re: “Noted: Bach's high mileage

So, is the insinuation that 18000 miles a year is extreme? What do you think a new vehicle, inclusive of expenses would cost? Hard to believe some people will pick on any picayune thing if they don't like the politics of the person they are bitching about. Why don't you all find something important to bitch about. How about Obama and his six trillion dollar spending spree and the sixteen trillion dollar debt. How many people even comprehend what that means?

Re: “Noted: Palmer High yearbook controversy

This is completely unfair. If they had to take out any pictures it would be a picture that showed too much sexual affection. Holding hands is not showing sexual affection like lip to lip kissing is. I would understand if they took out the photo of the heterosexual couple kissing lip to lip and the lesbian couple kissing on the cheek, because kissing is potentially crossing the line of school policies of PDA. But holding hands in my mind is not crossing any lines. If they already have a heterosexual couple making out in the yearbook, then why can't they have a lesbian couple AT LEAST holding hands. People have to accept that there are homosexual couples out there whether they like it or not. It is real. You cannot change it, or erase it and pretend it never happened. It is real.

Re: “Noted: Ultra withholds drilling info

so ultra wants to inject mother earth full of poisons and carcinogens. what a way to treat your mother, and so close to mothers (earth) day. darth vadar's halliburton secrecy act makes it easier to kill your mother but not have to tell anyone about it.

Re: “Noted: City pools could go to YMCA

Who are you talking to, Mr. smartestman? By nipping at your heels, you mean exposing your prejudices to public ridicule. You need to wipe your own butt before you claim to swat mine.

Re: “Noted: City pools could go to YMCA

I see the poltroon pooch is still trying to nip at my heels. Seems to me the last time I had to swat his little butt and he went sniveling to his owner.

Re: “Noted: City pools could go to YMCA

Thank you, Mr. smartestman, for giving us such a clear demonstration of your contempt and hostility toward women. I suppose your "insightful" analysis applies to Margaret Thatcher and Michelle Bachmann as well.

At least Lisa is cute! Most political figures are ghastly. How would you like to wake up next to Nancy Pelosi or Hillary Clinton? Truly frightening.

Re: “Noted: City pools could go to YMCA

Newbie Lisa Czledtako edited her facebook page to delete the comment she made yesterday -

"Now, this is where I'm smarter! The average citizen hears our community pools are open! Most people probably don't care of the details as long as it benefits the community so......I get it."

She needs to step down from her position as councilwoman and let someone else be appointed to finish out her term.

Re: “Noted: City pools could go to YMCA

Why not? Look at the ridiculously stupid and insipid comments made on an almost daily basis by our elected officials in Washington. Talent no longer runs for public office.

Newbie City Councilwoman Lisa Czeladtko stated on her facebook page -

"Now, this is where I'm smarter! The average citizen hears our community pools are open! Most people probably don't care of the details as long as it benefits the community so......I get it."

Can hardly believe that an elected city counclwoman would utter these words.

Re: “Noted: Tensions grow between Council and mayor's office

We should be more concerned with our city council, Colorado Springs City councilwoman Lisa Czeladtko's facebook states “city govt should not be in the business of creating jobs but providing services for citizens”.

It concerns me that a member of our city council does not understand the role the City government plays in supporting job creation with existing business in our community, as well the strategic planning and collaboration it takes between the City, County, and EDC to attract new businesses to our community.

Councilwoman Czeladtko needs to learn to understand the important role businesses play in the local economy and quality of life. The city of Colorado Springs should strived to be known as the number one business-friendly city in Colorado that offers an array of business development programs from start-ups to major corporations.

Top 15 - America's Best Cities For Business Mostly In West, South And Iowa (Forbes 3.2.12)
Four of Colorado cities ranked with Colorado Springs making the list at number 12.

. . . The Gazette reported in September of 2009, Lisa Czelatdko withdrew her candidacy to learn more about government . . .
