Nourish is really wonderful alternative to a greasy hamburger...everything is fresh, the people are enthusiastic, the place is clean and relaxed.
Really just everything you would hope for in this sort of healthy eats oriented place.
There is no such thing as "the New Life Church neighborhood". That neighborhood that Cafe Velo and Mission Roasters are in is known as "Trailridge" and is considered by some as a part of the greater "Northgate" neighborhood. And officially (according to the Colorado Springs city government) New Life Church is in the Interquest neighborhood.
New Life Church adds nothing to the neighborhood around it but traffic (and numerous traffic violators) and an ugly blue roof. Few of them who live outside the neighborhood patronize the local businesses. The Chinese restaurant next to Cafe Velo even started closing on Sunday due to the lack of business.
Darn...I want a sit down lunch, not bar food and carry out.
The BlueStar lunch is the best in downtown without having to spend a half hour finding a parking place.
We have also redesigned the page completely and serve awesome steaks:

The Warehouse is the best place for a good steak in town!
This man is a complete scam artist and just took me for all the money I had saved to move. I would now be homeless if it weren't for friends. He is good at what he does, be careful and watch for his properties on University and Pikes Peak and one on Pikes Peak and Logan. Everything will seem completely legitimate, but it's not. I will not rest until he pays for his heartlessness.
I had a truly delicious cup of coffee at Kelly's shop. What a delight! Brett from Mission Coffee Roasters
Randy Sigley? Property manager? Watch out, the man is a scam artist and had scammed dozens of people in colorado springs.
This is actually the best Mexican food in town. So much of what passes for Mex or Tex-Mex here is melted cheese with hot peppers poured over various substances.
Jose's actually has distinct ingredients, well prepared and presented food with a good bar...all for no more than the dives.
It is our place of choice for Mex dinning.
Urban Steam is urban chic
Thanks...these reviews are always of interest and worthy of directing us to new places to eat and hang out.
I'll be excited to try out The Parked Pierogi! I haven't had a real pierogi since I left Cleveland! Lol.
Thanks for the nice article and shout out!
So North end Bistro..."is meant to be a healthier alternative to the fast-food restaurants along the Fillmore corridor."
where
"...breakfast hours will bring comfort-food goodies like Krispy Kreme doughnuts, chicken-and-waffles and banana-cream pancakes..."
I really enjoyed eating at FaerieTales they have the best food and great deserts, you wont find any better in town!
I hope the folks that work at the airport are nicer and more accommodating than the woman who runs the Tejon store. We were so mistreated there this morning we went elsewhere and bought a different brand.
The hazards of anonymity -- and being out of town. :( -Kate Jonuska-
On the Local: 50 miles is pretty extreme. I think 100 miles would be more sensible. I am looking forward to checking it out.
Re: “Expansion times three, plus one opening”
This is really helpful information, and some of what makes living here fun...this is my favorite column in the Indy...good work and thank you!
