Although I agree with the message, I do not agree with the vandalism.
Someone paid for that. It does not belong to the person that ruined it. If you want to send that message then buy your own sign.

Re: “Slice of Life

Just wanted to clarify that the ordinance does not allow 2 goats per resident but 2 goats per RESIDENCE. Female goats or neutered males under 100 lbs at maturity are now legal within city limits unless your HOA prohibits it. If you own goats then you can only have a total of 4 licensed pets on your property so if you have 3 dogs and a cat you can't legally own goats too. If you do not have goats then the total is 8 licensed pets per property. Chickens don't count in that total since they aren't licensed in Colorado Springs.

An absolute fascinating story Matthew... and thank you for all the photos and resource links you've added throughout the csindy.com site and csindystories.com site on this project!! Great job to your whole team involved.

Re: “Slice of Life

Far more likely there is a legal question surrounding this piece of juicy gossip that so many are so anxious to sling around. Perhaps the campaign manager has threatened a lawsuit and the charges cannot be substantiated. It is the duty of the Independent to prevent libel, not to promote it.

Re: “Slice of Life

It is dysfunctional, almost as dysfunctional as the moderation on this site. I wonder why it is that when the campaign manager of Bill Elder gets called out for sleeping with her husbands subordinate, she or whoever on his campaign can have every story blocked from comments. Did it "hit a nerve"? Or is it that someone like the reporter or editor is an Elder supporter? I find it suspicious that the Indy has no problems with people getting slammed on this site, day in and day out, but now you are silencing the drama that you started?

Very strange and questionable if you ask me. Right after the very person who was responsible for the slanderous attacks on the current office was called out, on her nasty secrets, the comments are blocked. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that someone is not playing fair.

Since Monsanto is nowhere to be found in Colorado, I guess the protesters just wanted to bitch about something/anything.

An unexpectedly beautiful smile shining through the morning's miserable news. Thanks CSIndy! Thanks, Bonnie!

Re: “Slice of Life

I thought the home owners did an excellent job decorating for Halloween. My family loved it! I was impressed with how friendly and welcoming the family was. Their house was surrounded by fans and some of the "living ghouls" even took time to take pictures with visitors. Well done! I can't wait to see what they do for Christmas!

Exactly why we need to be proactive in our community about stormwater and flooding issues. The County Commissioners heard an interesting presentation on Thursday discussing the problem, the needs and some potential opportunities to address.

Re: “Slice of life

This trying to be a regular fellow degrades our leaders...and undermines the sense of decorum and dignity this community is already sorely lacking. We don't need anymore clowns, we need people of vision and stature.
