Which Louis of the FBI do you trust to write a report that ferrets out the triuth.
Is it Louis of the FBI - the man responsible for Ruby Ridge and wrote the report that absolved his agency (and himself) of all responsibility. I think Louis came to the conclusion the shootings were justified because his agent's couldn't see the baby wasn't carrying a gun so they shot thru it's mother killing both of them to be sure - and then refused medical aid while she died slowly.
OR
Is it the Louis of the FBI - the Mastermind of WACO who sent in his agent's with the wrong gear and then set the place on fire. How many did he kill because he was wanna-be cowboy. But guess what? In the report he wrote and his testimony before a Congressional Committee -- the FBI, under his superb leadership, did no wrong and blamed it on his boss - the Attorney General (Janet Reno).
I believe everything he wrote in the PSU Report. I do, Yes, I really do,
Nurse I'm ready for my medication.
I don't know what happened a PSU but I do know that Louis of the FBI doesn't have a clue either.

so it sounds like people's idol has beed tarnished... too bad. this guy has been shown to be part of this horriffic problem for the university that will harm that university for a long long time. forget your unworthty idol...think of the children.

Watching these Penn State fans become completely unglued is priceless.
I'd imagine it's hard for them to come to terms with Paterno hiding a pedophile for more than a decade.
I'd wish they demonstrated as much outrage for Sandusky's victims as they are for their dead and rotting head coach and his merry band of misfits.
By the way, can Paterno hear "We ARE" down in hell? Or do the flames muffle it out?

Wow, what a bitter place you are in! I'm guessing Joe wouldn't give you the time of day when you were a cub reporter in Philly, and you never quite got over it. This is a lousy excuse for journalism, barely worth a comment, but I'm eating lunch and had a minute. I heard Mayor Rizzo was a pr**k, too. Tell us about the two times you talked to him. I think he's dead, so you're safe!

Cleary, you have an ax to grind with Paterno regarding your newspaper career. That being said, your lumping him and his family into Sandusky's exploits and stating that he let him "run rampant" around the campus is just a lie. Sandusky's retirement package that gave him access to campus facilities had nothing to do with Paterno. It was actually handled by the current INTERIM president Erickson, but you'd never know that unless you dig, which apparently you don't believe in doing. The family is justifiably upset that Paterno's name has been dragged through the mud by media like you that rehash the lies the Freeh Report claims involved Paterno. There are several investigations ongoing that have found serious flaws in the report which was used by the NCAA as the basis for the sanctions they have imposed on the University.

It seems to me that nearly everyone at the Indy is petty and vindictive and out to "get" someone or something (The Gazette, for example) for past indiscretions real or imagined.
Is that really what the Indy is all about? Come on, grow up.

If not for reporters such as yourself, the world would never know how people with a grudge live and breath. It just goes to show how little research went into this article that is full of venom and hate. Such As stated eariler...let it go buddy. Holding on like this has made you a bitter bitter little man.

How about some examples from the 80's, the 90's, or even this side of the century mark? I've never believed in 'Saint Joe' but this/your article long on opinion and short on cited fact.
[switch gears] You tenacious Paterno Fans are giving Penn State Fans a bad reputation. Face it, Paterno was at the very least, loosely involved in the mess. Not to blame, but involved.

If you had written this back in November it might have had some traction...But now you just sound like a petty bitter old man with an axe to grind....rittenberg should be embarrassed he put a link to this and exposed people to this garbage...at least you got this out of your system..now you can go back to yelling at young kids to slow down as they run by your house...

you as all other writers you make all your all decisions based on nothing more than made up crap from the freeh report and no evidence whatsoever on Joe P as for your base less he was breaking Ncaa rules ,well has he ever been found guity of that I dont think so.That just shows all the other stuff is BS as well,All you writers hated Joe P and PSU because he would not give you the stories you wanted.WE ARE PENN STATE AND PROUD OF IT,pLUS HOW MANY FOOTBALL COACHE3D DO YOU THINK ARE NOT IN THE SAME AS JOE THEY WANT TO HAVE A PROGRAM LIKE PSU which had nothing to do with those kids that was all Sandusky PSU athlectics are still number one as are there kids and grad rate
