Re: “Cannabis clubs mobilize, take on anti-marijuana legislation

Old Guy.
The issue is these clubs are illegally "selling" recreational cannbis. The city of Colorado Springs prohibits the sell of recreational cannabis. They are having people "donate" $25 to them and in return getting weed. Or having people "buy points" 1 point = $1 and they can then use their points to buy cannabis. Hence why they are an issue... People "donating" for cannbis don't need a medical card like the city requires to buy within the city limits.

I recently moved to the Spings and saw you on the news. I was so excited until I saw there was a membership fee. What if I find that your establishment and I are not a fit?

Re: “Council cracks down on homegrow operations — green chiles, bubba kush and all

I love how they added "all" to the "flora" portion. I doubt very seriously that anyone that grows veggies, is doing it indoors. They will only send the swat team out for cannabis, otherwise, they will look even more stupid if they spend 300k to send out the team for cucumbers. Nice try on hiding the blatant discrimination though. I don't give a crap about their "fire ordinance" I will live by A20, not by City Council and the Mayors made up rules. Thank you never much...

now yall know THEY can not dictate what will happen in the privacy of your own home. i see a dozen law suits on the horizon. THE CITY COUNCIL NEEDS TO MIND ITS OWN BUSINESS....OR MAYBE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE HEROIN IN OUR TOWN????

Deschedule. Not reschedule.

Re: “DEA's long-awaited rescheduling decision may be 'blessing in disguise' for reformers

The DEA, media and others are misleading the public. - It is NOT necessary for marijuana to have ANY medical benefits to be removed from the list of scheduled drugs. Far more harmful alcohol and tobacco have no medical benefits and they are not on the list. - The president can simply DE-schedule marijuana through his Attorney General.

End the federal marijuana prohibition with two clicks!

Re: “Former employees speak out against accused "pot doc"

The cause of this niche business is the stupidity of making all marijuana dispensaries in some cities medical. It cost nearly half to shop at a medical shop with a card.
It's time to deschedule.
It's time to measure medical doses so patients can be sure they get consistent products.

Re: “Former employees speak out against accused "pot doc"

Doctors will not discuss the use of marijuana with patients. Unless someone is dying from cancer a primary care physician will not sign the paperwork for fear of Federal retribution on their prescription number. This has created a niche for what many will call a marijuana Dr. For over 10 years I talked to Dr.'s about pain management for my back and all them said just use it BUT I can't sign that paperwork.

While some of these Dr.'s are just signing paperwork they are consulting with the patient as required by law. Make no mistake that they are able to make money for signing their paperwork and see many patients in a day because a niche market has been created because they are the only Dr's willing to make the medical marijuana recommendation.

I don't approve of the price gauging for the visit, the charge for plant counts or not having proper ID. I do know I use the same Dr. every year for renewal and have discussed the medical records that I brought from my primary Dr and my MRI.

Re: “Is marijuana legalization just as racist as prohibition was?

It is not the law that is racist it is the cops.

Respect the vote. How is smell more important than lives? The neighbors grill makes me sick every night! Why does the mayor want to make good citizens into criminals?

no one got bought off we just don't agree that alcohol is any better and think that they should lay off the little plant that helps so many people.

Unfortunately, women have not got the chance of a snowball in hell of getting the right treatment -- even for a woman, never the individual.

Re: “Lamborn votes against vets' access to medical marijuana

What would truly be effective is treat people as individuals. Treat the person as well as the disease. Watching the VA treat my Uncle its like one size fits all.
